Vacation, taking a lot of pictures, and writing were all I had in mind when I went to Ulsan.

My hands held the camera in my hands, trying to get a perfect shot of the Paraseo waterfalls right in front of me. I made sure to jot down all the tourist spots I plan to visit for later as well so I wouldn't have to open my phone all the time to search for them.

I took dozens of shots. The waterfalls, the blurry silhouettes, a solo picture of me. It was beautiful, the sun shining and the cloudy blue sky even highlighting how it felt refreshing. There's still something magical about the scenery, and my lips curled into a smile when I saw how people could just walk around and relax here.

After spending a couple more hours at the site and getting everything I need ready to go, I decided it was about time to head to another place. Maybe this time at the bamboo garden. I've still got time to spare. It was pretty early. It's not really cold outside but the wind is still chill, and even though I'm wearing a jacket, the goosebumps still come up.

So with my stuff, camera bag over my shoulder, the camera hanging on my neck, and my headphones blasting a new song, I walked around the national park. After a while, I decided to go to the bamboo grove.

The trail was about four kilometers long and the bamboo path was beautiful and calming to look at. And after I found myself lost in the greenness that surrounded me, I couldn't help but take more pictures. It would be nice to put this in the blog. The birds were chirping and I could hear children's laughter from away as more tourists came by.

After I took my time to take in the surroundings and roam around, I finally tried to find a taxi. I heard that it wouldn't really take long so I was quite happy I'd have enough time to go to the other locations listed in my list.

But before I could even call out for the upcoming taxi, a black sports car suddenly parked in front of me, thus ruining my chance to call for the ride. Damn it.

The driver got out of his car and leaned against it. He seemed to be waiting for me to leave or get into the car so he can drive off. He was also wearing some sunglasses so it took me a while to try to see who it was.

When I didn't move, he cleared his throat. "Need a ride, Dara?"

I only furrowed my brows before I just rolled my eyes when he took off his sunglasses and chuckled. "Jesus, I didn't even know that's you, Shin."

"Sorry, did I startle you?" he asked as I put my hands on my chest as if surprised and nodded. I then crossed my arms and tilt my head towards the direction where the taxi went.

"I lost my ride actually but since you're offering, I might as well accept it."

Shin only chuckled at this as he then took the initiative to open the door. What a gentleman. I then sat down on the passenger seat before I saw him going back in and taking a glance at my notepad.

"What's that?" I took the time to scribble more notes before showing it to him. He took a minute reading the content as I then raised the camera I had and opened it to share the photos I captured.

"A list of the locations I'd visit and here are the pictures I took earlier at the national park," I answered.

He then hummed. "So, where are you off to next?"

"I was actually thinking of going to Daewangam Park," I replied before looking out the window. He nodded and softly smiled, starting the car before driving.

He then replied to this, "Oh, that's surprising. I was going there also."

My eyes went back to glance at him, a curious gaze set on him. "You're on vacation too?"

He nods. "I am. The others are in charge of my tasks for a while."

I then smiled. "That's great then. You have enough time to rest. You've been busy these couple of days."

At this, he let out a chuckle, "That I am."

Before we fall silent, he looked at my notebook once again. "I'm assuming you're still working on the blog. You've been quiet recently."

I immediately nodded and opened the notebook, "Decided I've had too much rest these days so I'll try working again. But not pushing myself as much. Of course, I'd still go on trips and enjoy traveling while updating the website."

"Good for you," Shin replied once more before putting his attention on the road. We stayed like this for the whole rest of the way, only exchanging small talk here and there. To be honest, I was quite thankful Shin came. I didn't expect the ride to be an hour long.

Once we arrived, I got out of the car first and waited for Shin to park the car. When he did, he handed me my camera bag and we started heading together. I could already see the buildings and the trail we were supposed to walk through.

But as we walk, I suddenly noticed a restaurant on my left before the dragon statue was in sight. Shin continued walking before noticing that I had stopped.

"Is there something wrong?" Shin asked as I nodded.

"Maybe we could order a take-out? I feel like the trail would be longer than I expect it to be..." I trailed off as Shin noticed the look in my eyes as I stared at the shrimp restaurant.

"Hawaiian shrimp truck...you want to order something there?" Shin continued as I smiled.

"The hamburger steak and shrimp rice seem enticing after all that driving." Shin chuckled before letting me go as I ran towards the restaurant and decided to order us some food.

It only took minutes as we finally got the food and carried it with us before going inside the park. There were full of trees and the trail seemed to be visited a lot by most tourists and locals. Shin and I walked side by side as I took pictures of the place. We even both took a picture together as a souvenir before sitting down on one of the benches. There was such a cool breeze while we took a rest.

I opened up the food and took one of the plastic utensils and started eating while Shin seems preoccupied with his phone. His eyebrows were furrowed as I kept on taking a bite of the steak and finally drank soda. After a while, I then saw him texting back.

"Who's that?" I curiously asked before he finally looked up and glanced to our left. I followed his gaze and saw someone running towards us with his hands waving.

"Shin! Dara!" A boy's voice rang as Shin stood up and crossed his arms.

A familiar face as I softly smiled and waved back.
