"New!  Something new!  Are you sure?"  The trees (I knew it was really just other Rainwings) whispered excitedly.  I rolled my eyes at their excitement.  One time, there was a rose without thorns and it sent the whole kingdom into a frenzy!  I rolled my eyes but followed the other dragons, just to  see if it was somehow actually important.

When I approached the platform, I saw a dragon laying down with scales that were a dusty yellow/tan.  The colour reminded me of a RainWing that got stuck in a bush and didn't have any sun, bland and blunt.  The weird dragon jumped up, brandishing her tail, which had a weird lump on the end of it.  She hissed at us and poked her tail towards the Rainwings with sleep-darts, causing them to  flee in terror, but all I could see was her black eyes.  Her eyes stared into mine and we both froze in place as a bolt of invisible lightning flashed between us and I knew, somehow I knew, that something very important had just happened.
