The year is 2020. This is a time in modern history where there is no use for diseases to be spread from person to person. But something has caused an old disease to regain new life...

"Old Disease Gains New Life!" Reads a headline from that days newspaper.

"Ha, that's hogwash sis." Says Layla unbelieving.

"But it's true sis!" "Just look at what the paper reads!" Kazuna yelled towards her sister as she pushed the floating tablet to her sister.

Layla took the floating tablet and looked through the article her sister had been reading and found that her sister wasn't lying in the least.

"*Sigh*, yeah?" "So?" "That still doesn't make it true." "The disease control and prevention centers haven't said anything about if this is actually true or not." "So for now, it's still hogwash sis!"

"Is not."
"Is too"
"Is not."
"Is Too."
"IS NOT!"
"IS TOO!"
"AH, JUST SHUT UP!"

They both huffed and turned to face back towards their mother and father who were giving them weird looks.

"Kids?" "Is something wrong?"

"Yeah!" "Just take a look at this dad, mom!"  Kazuna shouted as she passed the floating tablet to her parents.

Her parents looked at her weirdly before reading the article.

Their eyes widened like saucers in a matter of seconds.

"This is...!"
By this point both of them were reading out loud;

"This disease spreads from person to person by latching onto a person's skin and then chewing their way through that person's first layer of skin and other layers of skin until they somehow make their way into the body and into the blood stream."  "First it will settle in the blood stream and try to multiply and then it will move to other parts of the body and take down healthy cells and then finnaly it will make it's way up to the person's brain and leave them brain dead." "This process is extremely painful and those who do not have a high enough pain tolerance are bound to be driven insane." "Once the full effects of the disease take place the person ultimately dies and then becomes reanimated." "At this point more than half of the world is infected." Read the newspaper article.

"Hmm...This seems serious..."
As soon as the couple said that an alert came to the device saying that all citizens in the area must evacuate due to the oncoming threat of the disease. It also said that the disease control and prevention centers within the state have deemed the situation critical.

"Well then ,that settles it." "Girls go pack, and make sure to pack provisions." "You never know. What'll happen." The girl's parents cautioned.

(Time skip, after they packed.)

"Ma, dad, were ready to go!" The two girls shouted carrying their luggage along with their brothers'.

"Alright,the car is unlocked, throw your stuff in and get back in here, we have stuff to give you!" Their parents shouted from the upstairs bedroom.

The girls did as told and threw the luggage into the car and went back inside to see their parents holding guns and some ammo.

Their mother was holding a machete while their father was holding a few guns and some ammo within a bag.

"We were going to wait to give you children these guns and ammo until you were older but desperate times calls for desperate measures." Said their mother.

"Now girls you must only use these if nessecary and if you really need to." "Don't use them irresponsible-y because if you do one of you might end up dead and we don't want that."  "To use these guns you must be very careful." "Mommy is going to show you how to use them."

The girls were each given their guns and shown how to use them.

"Ok ma, we got how to use them now let's go." "We already packed enough food to last a lifetime and enough supplies and water to last us for quite a while." "We also brought up the spare gasoline for the car just in case we run out." The girls explained.

"Alright let's go."

The family of five then locked their doors and got into the car and drove off hoping to find somewhere safe to go to.
