I felt the scarlet locket you gifted me, rumbled around my neck.
I recall the times it stood as a comfort for me. When you
were away from me, I never felt your
deadly absence when the locket
laid around my neck.

I still think of the charm the locket had, the precise magic which
could only be felt between us. The time when your
hands fell in contact with the locket, those short
fraction of seconds were the most
memorable of all.

That magical moment when I felt my
heart skipped a beat
unknowingly....
