Lucy

I looked in the mirror sadness filling my eyes. Its been about two months since I told Gabe about what was wrong with me and agreed to do the chemo and sign up for transplant. Still haven't gotten a call back. But I have started Chemo and I hate ever minute of it. It hurts and I just want to die right there. Gabe has gone with me to all the appointments and has been my rock and I am most thankful to him.

So here I am in one of the most beautiful dress's I have ever worn all my hair is gone. My body id slimmer (If that's even possible) and I really pale. Today is Trevor and Clair's wedding. I am so happy for them and grateful. They have given me everything and more since coming here.

"Lucy are you ready?" Maddie asked coming into the hotel room I am staying in. Yeah its in a hotel. Oh and Maddie is Clair's mother. She is a sweet lady and I now know where Clair got her charm.

"Almost" I sighed. Maddie walked over carrying a bandanna that matched the dress. The dress was a lavender purple that hugged every upper curve and gracefully flowed to the ankles. Maddie gently placed the lavender bandanna on my head and careful pinned a calla lily in my ear. I smiled at her.

"Thank you Maddie" She smiled at me and nodded.

"You are like my adopted daughter Lucy. You are beautiful, brave and strong"

"If I was strong I wouldn't have had to be like this" I sighed. Maddie placed her hands on my face and made me look at her. She was wearing a purple and white suit with a hat. For a 48 year old, she was stunning.

"Honey God made you the toughest out there. If it were me in your position I don't know if I'd make it."

"I guess"

"No Lucy. You have a strong family behind you and we may not be blood. But we are in spirit." She kissed both my cheeks. "Now lets head downstairs we have a wedding to attend"

I smiled at her and walked out of the room and to the bottom floor where the guest were already in their seats and Trevor waiting at the end of the aisle nervously.

"Hello beautiful" I smiled to myself as I recognized the voice. "Gosh Lu you look amazing."

I turned around. Gabe was in a tux looking like his sexy self with his hair carefully combed to the side and gelled. I felt like rubbing it messy.

"You don't look half bad yourself" I giggled hugging him. He wrapped his big arms around me as I laid my head on his chest. Ever since the kidnapping Gabe has really been working out and etting in shape. He says that no one will ever hurt her again and judging by his tone of voice and muscles he wasn't kidding.

"You ready for this?" He asked as he let go. I nodded my head as Clair came around wearing her beautiful wedding dress. It wasn't poofy like the ones you see in movies but simple and well Clair. The flower design magnified her beauty as her veil was covering her face. I smiled at her and walked over. She saw me and smiled big and nervous.

"Don't be so nervous Clair" I laughed hugging her. She smiled again

"Sorry but I can't help it. Standing at the end of the aisle is the most amazing man I have ever seen. Well other than you daddy" She laughed patting her dad on the arm. He smiled and shook his head.

"It's okay darling. I just knew this day would come. I never thought it would come this early" He kissed her cheek. I felt a bit jealous of their relationship but I knew nothing can change what has happened.

"You'll do great Clair" I smiled.

Gabe looped his arms in mine as the music started to play. One by one the brides maid and their partners left down the aisle. Then it was Gabe and I. Smiles were painted in everyone faces until we got down. Then everyone stool as the song changed to canon. I looked at Trevor who smiled at me and looked at Clair mesmerised with a huge smile. I know he loves her with every ounce of blood in his body. Clair walked down her and Trevor's eyes never leaving each other.

The ceremony passed and it was amazing. I've never seen two people move so fast when the priest said you may now kiss the bride. Gabe made some weird noise. I gave his a look and he just shrugged his shoulders and cheered. When we entered the hall it was an amazing sight. A huge chandelier was hanging off the ceiling beautifully lit. Round tabled were scattered everywhere with lavender tangled cloths, silver and white flowers. There was one long table where the bride and groom sat with me and Gabe. Gabe was the best man by the way. Their friends and family were distributed all around. With over 150 guest it was pretty busy. The food was absolutely amazing. I was having a very lovely talk with Maddie when someone cleared there throats on the microphone. The whole room went quiet as everyone looked. On stage was Gabe in his sexy tux.

"Well hank you for giving you attention. I'd like to make a toast to the newly weds.Congrats man I hope you have a good life. May you have a beautiful life together."

Everyone raised their glass and cheered.

"Okay now that we made a toast it is time for the bride and grooms first dance as a married couple" The room was deafened by applauded as Trevor and Clair stepped to the dance floor. Gabe whispered something to the DJ. He nodded and Life house began to play. Everything. Oh this song was the sweetest song ever. Trevor and Clair smiled at each other as the music went on and they were dancing.

I watched in awe as they moved with each other a permanent smile on their faces. I felt two arms wrap around my waist. I smiled. Gabe nuzzled his face in my neck sending fireworks all over the place. He always makes me feel so special.

"You wanna get out of here?" He asked in a soft whisper against my skin. I shuddered and nodded my head. He turned me around and held my face in his hand and kissed my nose. I smiled at him again then made our way to the elevator. My body was tingling with excitement as Gabe held my hand. The elevator closed and in one swift move Gabe was kissing me passionately. Gosh he was so amazing. Our tongues danced and fought with each other until we heard the Ding

Gabe pulled back and smiled while hauling me from the elevator to his room. He opened the door and picked me up bridal style. I was helplessly giggling. He kick the door shut behind him and gently placed my on the bed. Hid lips found mine again as he climed on top of me holding his weight as to notcrush me. I am still very weak and chemo isn't helping.

"You're so beautiful Lucy Owens" Gabe said against my lips. He took off my bandanna and flower and threw them across the room placing a kiss on the top of my head then trailing down to my eyes, cheeks, ears, nose then her kissed my lips again. I felt so loved and so on fire. This man is driving me crazy. Some how his jacket and shirt ended up on the floor along with his shoes. The rest well lets  just say we put the do not disturb sign up. . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . . I woke up feeling amazing. Last night had to be the  best night of my life. I turned over in Gabe's bed to find him fast asleep. He was lightly snoring and it made him that much more adorable. His hair was a mess and I mentally cheered myself because I wanted to do that all day yesterday. I got up and found a pair of his boxers and his t-shirt of beach view. I put the shirt up to my nose taking in his smell. He smells so amazing especially with his axe cologne. He never wears too much but the right amount where I want to hold him in my arms forever and smell him. I walked over the the mirror and looked at myself It was a good thing that I didn't wear any makeup yesterday. I picked up the bandanna and placed it on my head when all of a sudden a huge wave of dizziness took over. I clutched to the counter steadying myself.

Well that was weird. I have never felt like that. Sure the chemo made me puke my brains out but that only happens after chemo or a day after or if I haven't eaten. And I remember eating a lot yesterday. I shrugged it off and began to pick up the mess on the floor when the dizziness came again. I leaned against the closest wall taking deep breaths.

"Baby are you okay?" Gabe asked as he held around the waist. I turned around and looked at him. Fear and concern were written all over his face.

I put my hand on his face. "I-I don't know I feel so dizzy" I said feeling it again.

"I think you should lay down" He said but I couldn't as a ringing sound enter my head making thing 10 times worse. "Baby?"

The room began to spin along with my stomach.

"LUCY!" was the last thing I heard before everything went black.

Hello people who have been reading this book. Sorry if I haven't really been updating but I will complete this story there is only about 2 chapters left of this story and my main focus will be on my new story "The Alpha and the Maid" check out that one as well. I hope you like it! <3
