Dark twisted broken mind

sitting watching whittling away the time

Torment found a home

You prefer to be alone

Wrapped in darkness it takes hold toxic and deadly

Cold black stare, close your eyes, no feeling nothings there

The feeling of all air sucked from your lungs

Darkness lurks hidden away in your mind

You watch from the window of your soul

The world moves around you

And you try to break free

Accusations and whispers echo in your ears

You push through the darkness holding you down

The shell of who you were before still trying to be found

Darkness swirls around you

No comfort found

It seeps in and holds on

Happiness and laughter are gone

Dark twisted broken mind

It wraps around you like a toxic shriveled vine

Prisoner in your body and lost in your mind
