If magic were real it would be captured in you.

you enchanted me at first glimpse.

Your eyes mesmerized me, deep pools of emotion.

Mirror to your beautiful soul.

You looked at me and broke out in the biggest grin.

Your deep soothing voice enticed me.

You charmingly took my hand kissed it and said "the pleasures all mine."

Your low sultry laugh as you made me smile.

We talk for hours about everything and nothing.

We laughed and shared so many things.

We even liked the same tea.

We strolled together down the street not bothered by people that passed us by.

We stopped and looked at things in window shops.

We mostly just walked and talked.

Time flew by, almost the whole day lost in what the other had to say.

For us time stood completely still that day.

You bought me a single white rose and i gave you a bracelet from my ankle.

You told me it paled next to my beauty.

You made me laugh so very much that day.

Then it was time to say goodbye.

Your plane would leave the very next day.

We shared Chinese for dinner and stayed out tell well past midnight.

We exchanged numbers and parted ways.

I fell asleep that night with a smile on my face and thoughts of you.

The very next day you called  me before you got on that plane.

You told me i stirred something in you that had been gone for a long time.

Then you were simply gone.

We never talked again, I'll never know why.

Things change and peoples lives rearrange.

Years have gone by, it's been a very long while that i have had thoughts of you.

But still at times i  remember you and the day we shared.

It brings a smile to me everytime.

I hope you're well and perhaps sometimes you remember me too.
