Gardens of memories that inhabit my mind.

Where I find laughter and tears that spin like gears.

Fears linger near and remembered laughter echoes in my ears.

One once so dear holds the key of what once was to be.

But alas that was lost and the memories stay locked in my soul.

The sting of tears that took their toll.

A mind no longer whole parts broken away.

The thoughts that stay.

Struggling through the waves of pain.

Yet is a past love really to blame?

Love so hard to be tamed.

Yet can tarnish and fade.

It's damage leaves the heart and soul to evade such pain again.

Gardens of memories that inhabit my mind.

Thoughts I find so hard to keep at bay cross the threshold of my soul.

Time may heal yet they steal moments like velvet soft kisses.

Love tragic bliss that the heart can not resist.
