There was a knock at Jacks door.

The door was opened by Jack himself, in all his lame like glory.

And on the other side there was Mark, is all his lame like glory too.

"Hey, come in Mark! You ok?" Asked the green haired man.

"Uh, yeah I'm fine Jack! Thanks for having me round." Said Mark, smiling warmly at his new friend, who he had threatened not to long ago.

A women, around her late twenties had come down stairs for a glass of water.

"Jack, sweetheart? Are you ok?" She asked.

"Yeah Ma! Ma! This is my friend, Mark! Mark this is my mother!" He said, his Irish accent, thicker than usual.

"Hello Mrs McLoughlin." Said the red haired teen, offering a hand shake.

"Hello there Mark!" She smiled, shaking his hand. "I'll leave you two alone I'll get my water later on." She said, wondering off up stairs.

"So, you mother locked you out... Again? Will she even care that your here?" Asked Jack, worry in his eyes.

"Yeah, it happens a lot. She won't care, she never does. She probably forgot all about." Mark replied shrugging, as if it didn't matter.

"Who have you told?!" Jack asked, putting a comforting hand on Marks shoulder.

"You."

For a minute or so, there was silence.

"Do you, um, have any clothes?" Asked Jack

Mark nodded a yes.

"We best get to sleep or else we'll be late for school."

Mark followed Jack to his room.

"You'll sleep in my bed, I'll sleep on the coach."

Mark looked at Jack and said "No! We can share the bed." Said Mark, a light blush forming on his cheek.

Jacks face turned red as a tomato.

"Uh, are you sure I don't want it to be awkward."

Mark retaliated "yeah, but I don't want you having a bad back and honestly I'm not the one for turning down a bed, babe." Adding the joke on at the end.

"Did you just call me babe?" Asked Jack, smirking at the blushing red head.

"Maybe I did, punish me!" Said Mark, crossing his arms.

"Only if you want me to, sweetheart." Smirked Jack.

Mark blush darkened.

"I never knew you was this dirty minded... I don't feel comfortable being in the same house with you!" He joked.

"Fine! We'll just share a bed!" Jack said, giving up.

"Yay!" Cheered Mark, with a hint of sarcasm.
