Iwaizumi spiked the ball with all his power but he was blocked by Matsuwaka. Iwaizumi turned expecting to see Oikawa tease him but instead he faced Kenma who looked at him with no emotion. Iwaizumi smiled but was returned with a light smile. As the team gathered for the end of volleyball club, Kenma was nowhere to be seen. He had run away from the crowd and was playing on his 3DS in the changing room.

Oikawa and Bokuto chatted on cheerfully about volleyball. Bokuto's performance had improved greatly with Oikawa's excellent tossing and Bokuto often exclaimed,

"Oikkgawaa!"

The rest of the team just stared at the two as they shouted and bounced about. Soon Onaga and Washio managed to block Bokuto's spikes and Komi received them well. Suddenly, Bokuto stopped. He reached out a hand. Oikawa stared at him shocked.

"Oikawa," Bokuto said, "Don't toss to me anymore!"

Oikawa looked at him shocked.

"But-" he exclaimed but before he could finish Bokuto had already left. The rest of the team were worried. Akaashi usually dealt with Bokuto's emo mode but he was not here! What were they going to do?

Akaashi was exhausted. He had been tossing to Ushijima all day. Did stamina mean nothing to Ushijima. He kept on going. Akaashi knelt down and done his laces and drank water. The rest of the team had long left but Ushijima had asked Oikawa to set to him for Ushijima to practice his spiking. He practiced even more than Bokuto.

Shirabu tossed to Hinata for what seemed like the hundredth time. Yet, their timing did not synchronise once again.

"Again!" Hinata said.

Shirabu stared at the boy. His stamina was so good. Shirabu was tired since he had set to everybody else and him and Hinata were doing extra practice. In fact, he was too proud to admit to Hinata he was tired. He continued to toss the ball in silence as Hinata missed once again.

"Yes!" Lev shouted as he continued his excellent spiking. Kuro smiled.

"You're doing really well, Kageyama!" he said as he hit him on the back. Kageyama said nothing.

"Oh," Kuro continued, "I'm sorry about that thing I said about Shrimpy seeming better than you,"

"It's okay," Kageyama said.

The ball came flying over the net and Yaku received it with ease. Kuro got ready to hit the ball.

"Send the ball to me!" Kageyama said as he started running.

Everybody looked astonished. Kageyama was calling for a toss?

Kuro set the ball for Kageyama and Kageyama spiked a straight.

"Yamamoto stared at Kageyama.

"Shrimpy wan't joking when he said Kageyama said he wanted to receive, toss and spike all by myself!" he exclaimed.

Kageyama, upon hearing about Hinata, wondered how he was coping without him.
