if you haven't fully comprehended the story then feel free to ask! in short, the patient, jeongguk, had a best friend named jimin. though, jimin encountered an accident and failed to survive. jeongguk couldn't stop thinking about jimin, and blamed himself, concluding that he could've prevented it.

jeongguk, traumatized by his friend's death started imagining people (the members) as he thought they were the ones that kept him company while he was lonely. he considered them as people who were facing the same problem as him, yet he didn't know he made up all of their stories and characters by himself and that they were never real in the first place.

hoseok, jeongguk's adopted elder brother decided to take jeongguk to a psychiatrist to mend his mind because he wanted the best for jeongguk and hoped the psychiatrist, who was taehyung, would be able to succeed in making him forget about jimin, and he did.
