Eyes traveled over the scene, leaving her in a sense of wonder that gripped her heart like a kit against a warrior's tail. She moved her own tail over a patch of ferns, the silence that settled in the surrounding area barely stirring at the quiet rustling of the plants and the calm rippling of the nearby river. Above her shone the moon, its white rays creating a light that couldn't be found anywhere else. At least, she thought so.

She continued through, finding the path that no doubt everyone else had taken. The feeling of pawsteps ingrained into the dirt was an interesting feeling, but she remembered them when traveling to the Moonpool and even to the Gatherings. Now she was the type to watch those that travel the same paths that she did. It was definitely an odd feeling, watching young warriors do what she had once been trained to do, but that was what happened after death, after one joined the stars.

The path she was on led to a pleasant clearing by the river, and she felt the urge to dip her paws in, or even reach into her inner kit and play within the water. That's where she'd grown up, in the Clan beside the water, where she'd learned to swim, and where she'd learned to love the feeling of the smooth water between her fur. Though, it was only a trait she shared with her former Clanmates. That much was fine to her.

When it became apparent that the path actually dipped through the stream and onward, she didn't hesitate to cross. The water barely moved over her paws, as it was shallow and simple. It was peaceful, calming, and getting her ready for what they would be discussing in the meeting.

She had had her doubts about coming, considering that it had taken a few of her friends to convince her that this would be a good idea. That it took an unsolved mystery and the lack of answered questions to get her to even think about taking the time to journey out to this place. Maybe that should've been a warning, that a meeting like this was shrouded in so much of the unknown.

"It will be good for you," she'd been assured, "it will allow you to talk about what you haven't before."

Maybe she'd believed that, and that was why she trotted through this stream towards that hidden place. It was the scents and the lowered whispers that drew her to where she had to go. It was a clearing surrounded by trees, little flowers growing among the cats that she didn't quite recognize. She definitely kept to certain sides among the StarClan cats, but she wasn't opposed to meeting others.

There were five other spirits, and they created a circle. She saw why, with tiny distinct patches of grass poking themselves out among the rest of the clearing. Two had yet to be filled, and she went to one. They just had to wait for another, it appeared.

"Didn't know we'd have a full meeting this time," one of the others commented, her tone quiet. It was a miracle she'd heard her. The quiet one was small, possibly the age of a new apprentice or a full grown kit, if she had to guess. The kit sat with a poise that younger spirits had yet to get, and her tail laid by her paws in the respect that she'd been dead for a while. At least, that's what she thought, or what she'd gathered.

"We have yet to see the last appear. If we have only six, will we be able to proceed?" Another asked, the tom dragging his tail over his paws as he straightened. He had a renewed figure, something that would come from an elder or even a new spirit. She couldn't tell which it was, but she let them speak.

"Nothing to say?"

She looked up at the question, seeing that the five were looking at her. She resisted the urge to shuffle her paws, which had yet to dry. She didn't know she had to have said anything, but maybe it was to introduce herself or ask about the others.

"I'm —"

"We don't ask for names. This meeting isn't to meet others, but to benefit ourselves. Who told you about this and what Clan?" The kit interrupted, staring at her intently.

"Oh, well . . . Rainwhiskers told me about this, and I'm from WaveClan, formerly."

"Formerly doesn't mean we're still not one of them. The stars in our pelts just mean we have become all of them."

She hadn't expected something like that to come from a kit, but it only proved her thought that the kit was an older spirit than most of them. Which meant that whatever happened, she probably sat as the wisest. Unless someone older came in, but it was hard to tell age among the spirits.

"Rainwhiskers had attended this sort of meeting as well. He knows when a cat needs this and he knows when they don't. Which means that he told you about this for a reason."

"I can't think of the reason," she admitted, looking away sheepishly. She hadn't known Rainwhiskers for long, but he had been one of the cats to take her away from the Clans. She remembered her friends sitting at her body during her vigil, and--

She shuddered, shaking the images away. She didn't want to remember that, didn't want to think about everything. This was her home now, and she had come to realize that and was learning to accept that.

"You sound like you've been here a lot."

The kit shifted, a small laugh coming from her, "I started this, and I've seen cats come and go. Rainwhiskers was one of them, and when he left, he told me he'd make sure this grew. However, it's not that large of crowds at a time, due to the size of StarClan. I don't want it to get any bigger, but hopefully, this will be a first in a long time."

"That is?"

"Having a full group." The possible elder spirit commented, but she noticed that the three others hadn't spoken at all. Upon peering at them, one was small, but larger than the kit. He was most definitely an apprentice, stuck at the size of someone who was working towards their warrior name. The one that sat beside him was a smaller she-cat, which could be mistaken for a kit as well. She was black and white, at least from what she could tell past the stars and the glimmer. It was interesting, to say the least, to see the diversity among them all.

Pawsteps made her turn, seeing that the last cat was wandering in. His tail trailed behind him and gave a flick at the appearance of the others. He was slim and his fur was kept well, and the places that he put his paws were definitely determined and articulate. He glanced around, and when his eyes landed on the last spot in the grass, he settled down and curled his tail over his paws. He looked around the circle, at every cat that stared at him, and inhaled enough to make his shoulders rise.

"Didn't realize I was the last one."

"At least we have an entire group this time." The kit chuckled, before raising her chin, "I will start, and I will tell the first story. Let one thing be known."

Everyone appeared to be listening, and she even found that her ears were perking while she was leaning forward to hear what the kit was going to say.

"Anything told and anything shared, stays with us all. I have the hope, that this help you in your death."
