Chat had his arm wrapped securely around Marinette's waist, keeping her flush against his side. She was, coincidentally, wearing the same dress that she wore on her birthday, when he gave her the black paw necklace that was currently dangling between her collarbones.

The tips of his fingers lightly brushed against the rough, sandpaper like sparkles as he lifted her an inch or two off the ground before he extended his staff outside of her window. He pushed himself out of the window, her arms tightening around his neck as she buried her face into his chest. He blocked the wind with his body the best he could before he came to his final destination.

"Where are we?" Marinette asked, unhooking her arms from his neck. She looked around them, but she only saw the night sky.

"At the top of Sacre Coeur."

"I've never seen something so pretty! Why'd you bring me here?"

"Ladybug and I go here all the time, besides the Eiffel Tower. And I've been thinking, I never really asked you out, have I? So," Chat got down on to one knee as he held one of her hands in both of hers.

"C-Chat... W-What are y-you doing?" She had a warning tone in her voice as she stuttered out a response. "Chat, we're too young, and I don't even know your identity."

"Marinette." He spoke, stopping her from going any further. "Will you be my girlfriend?"

"Huh?"

That went in a different direction then she thought, I'm guessing. Chat thought as he stared up at her figure.

"I don't know how you want me to react..." Marinette muttered, slapping her hands to her cheeks repeatedly. "Do you want me to just scream 'yes!' And jump in to your arms or something? Or do you just want me to say yes?"

She continued to speak to herself different scenarios before Chat stopped her, grabbing her hands to cease them from hitting her any further.

"Anything you do will be absolutely purr-fect my purr-incess." He smiled at her before quietly adding, "though a kiss would be nice."

Marinette, caught in the romance of the moment, flung herself at Chat, deciding to go with her first option and placed a hard and sloppy kiss on his lips. He couldn't decide if whether or not her cheeks were red because of her repeatedly slapping herself, or because she was so happy.

He decided to go with the latter.

She got back to her feet and straightened her dress, looking almost as if nothing happened, besides the dark red blush the coated her cheekbones.

"So... Dinner?"

"What?"

"You didn't truly think I brought you all the way here just to ask you out, did you?" When Marinette didn't answer, he smirked and gestured to the setting behind them. There were two seats, foldable chairs, but seats nonetheless. Between them, was a foldable table with a white cloth draped over it, with two meals on the table and candles lit around it.

The perfect candlelit dinner for two fifteen year olds. Well, at least that's what Chat thought, he could only hope Marinette thought that too.

"Now enjoy, your handmade quiche."

"Quiche?"

"Hey, it's my favorite, and it's one of the only things I know how to make..." He murmured the last part quietly to himself.

"What was that?"

"I said, I hope you enjoy yourself, purrincess." He added a flirty wink at the end, to which she giggled at, covering her rose petal pink lips with her hand before sitting down. He pushed her chair in, and sat down across from her, the soft golden glow from the candle gently lighting up the two's faces.

They chatted some, and ate Chat's delicious quiche, in his opinion, he thought it wasn't that bad for a first time chef. When their night ended, he dropped her back off on her balcony, stole a good night kiss, and leapt off into the night, letting go of his transformation once he landed in his room.

"She was acting weird, wasn't she?" Adrien asked Plagg, who, in response, shrugged and went to Adrien's drawer that was filled with Camembert. He was thinking that the entire time, instead of her eyes sparkling like they use to whenever he took her places like this, it was almost like a dull gray. Lifeless. Almost like she was a marionette, a doll crafted to perfection, with her shiny blue hair, let down and pulled to one side, and the dress she wore on her birthday that fit well against her hourglass shaped body.

He'd have to do more research on it later. Now, he had to get a little sleep before school tomorrow.
