1) Tell us more about you!

romance_lover16: Hi! I'm Sunny! I'm a disabled romance author who writes about love that gets tested by time and evil! I'm currently a junior in high school and I'm kind of shy, but I also love to make new friends! Along with writing, I love to edit videos and graphic design! I'm regrettably a perfectionist and sometimes pessimistic, but I also consider myself to be really friendly!

2) What inspired you to write Saving Satayan?/What made you start writing?

romance_lover16: I was inspired to write Saving Satyavan by a school project. I have to take a minor in school, so I chose Speech/Broadcasting, which is basically making morning news broadcasts and learning how to edit movies. I was never a fan of being in front of a camera, so my teacher suggested I write a novel. As many of my books include graphic sexual scenes, foul language, and violence, I chose to rewrite a myth from my culture to write a more kid-friendly book and also finish up my project!

3) What are some challenges you faced while writing and what was your biggest challenge?

romance_lover16: Some challenges I faced when writing were time. Around the time that I was writing Saving Satyavan, I had to go on vacation to visit family. Normally, that wouldn't be a problem, but I haven't seen my relatives for over 10 years, so I knew I'd be spending a lot of time with them and not enough with my writing.

4) How do you overcome the challenge?

romance_lover16: I managed to find a small hour for myself during lunch when I could write. My grandma refused to let me go without eating, as I used to do at home, so I used my lunch time to multitask while she gossiped with neighbors and my mom.

5) You obtained first place in Historical Fiction. How do you feel about such an achievement?

romance_lover16: feel great to have obtained first place in Historical Fiction! I took a look at all the other books and they were amazing as well! I also never expected to win first place, so I was super happy!

6) Do you have any writing advice for other fellow writers who are also struggling in wattpad?

romance_lover16: My advice for other writers would be to join contests/communities and just write! Joining contests/communities will help gain recognition, and writing on your own is just something that every writer does! It's how you master the craft!

7) What is your feedback for our May Edition awards/community?

romance_lover16: The May Edition Awards were done promptly and well! I have no complaints and the community is very kind and amicable!
