POV | Grayson 

My name is Richard John Grayson and I've killed so many people, all things yet come at a cost. I sat at my desk and looked at my new file of Batman. I didn't want to do this; they block me out so it's just a person.

I've only ever controlled it twice the first time was for a 13 year old girl I was sent to kill, I always get a striking head ache and I yelled.

"Run! Now!" I struggled to yell at her and she picked up the pace and started to run away and I followed after her even as much as I fought it, it was no use. She got trapped in an alleyway and was corner and I grabbed my blade with my hand.

"Bye Sally." I said and I cruel and venomous voice and stabbed her. She gasped and tears came from her eyes.

"Why?" She whimpered as she slowly breathed her last breath, her last sight her last chance at this life. She slumped to the floor and I removed my blade from her chest and flung the blood off, I smelt the thick Gotham air and the winds picked up and tossed my hair around. Then I ran my way back to the base.

I snapped out and continued looking at the file; I didn't want to do this. I protested but it all ended in death or suffering.

"Come now Shadow. It's time." my unforgettable uncle shouted and I stood up and walked down the hall contently and started at the Medical Room and we made our way inside and they strapped me to a chair, I looked at the wall as they looked at me.

"Time to kill Batman" he said and stabbed the needle in my arm and I bit my lip from the pain that came afterwards and I was now trapped in my head, this wasn't just a blackout. This was a drugged up, I slowly stood up and looked out the door.

"Are you ready, Shadow?" my uncle asked contently.

"Yes," I replied and we walked down the hallway to the weapons room and stocked up.

"Remember, Batman's a tricky opponent." he said and I nodded silently and we walked in front of the court.

"Are you ready Shadow" one said and I nodded.

"Yes, I am" I said and I was screaming in my head.

'No, No I'm not your all flipping buttholes, got to H E double hockey sticks.' I yelled in my mind and my body began to run, and I sighed.

'It's no use.' I told myself in my mind and looked out my eyes and u saw myself flip up a building and landed on top. I made my way down a rusty stairwell and heard a voice.

"Shadow." they said firmly and I saw Batman and I jumped down and approached.

"Batman, detective of Gotham." I said and in my head I was screaming.

'Help me please; I hate this life just set me free of it.' I yelled in my mind and I continued watching.

"Why are you doing this?" he asked and I stared at him.

"You know the Owls. They're specific" I said and he looked at me.

"But why are you doing this Richard?" he said and I was smiling.

'Thank the lord.' I said in my mind and grabbed my head in pain and looked at him, things got really blurry and I stumbled a bit.

"Richard." he said and I stepped back and stared at him and threw a smoke pellet on the ground but I fell to my knees.

"It usually doesn't have this affect unless." I said and looked down and saw my hand shaking.

"He did." I thought to myself and fell on my side and my breathing hitched and I looked around.

"Richa....." I heard before I blacked out.
