Sunlight rained forth into the room through a singular window positioned above the sink, it's rays danced across the table as clouds passed by, Connie stood quietly beside the table as she took the first bite out of her donut savouring it for all it's worth, Steven sat looking around nervously trying not to lock eyes with Connie mouth agape as he tried thinking of a way to start this conversation praying he could put his nervousness behind him and not make their talk awkward, by the time he had found the right words Connie was sitting opposite of him looking at him inquisitively "So...You said that you had another strange dream?"Connie asked holding her donut between her index finger and thumb "It's hard to explain what I felt, but I'll try my best." Steven says thinking how to explain his strange experience, Connie nods in understanding before adding "I know I can't explain a majority of my dreams..." Connie takes another small bite of her donut "My dream started off relatively normal with me in my house, I was unaware at the time that I was sleeping so I made my way to the bathroom upon opening the door, I found myself in a field of Strawberries." Steven said before getting interrupted by Connie "Strawberries..." She said drawing emphasis to the tasty fruit "Didn't you once mention a giant field of Strawberries to me?" Connie asked trying to remember what story it was he told her "Yeah, the Gem Battlefield after the war, the area was overtaken by Strawberries and Butterflies..." Steven said becoming terrified as he remembered the Butterfly attack and how horrible his alergies acted up while visiting the area with the gems "Well I think that we should investigate that place sometime, who knows how it relates to your dream?" Connie said excitedly bringing the rest of the donut into her mouth Steven nodded with a smile "Connie, really does help me sort my thoughts." Steven thought chuckling internally "Oh...sorry for cutting you off." Connie said softly, a sad expression spread across her face, Steven was taken aback by this "No, no, it's okay you've actually given me my first lead." Steven said a small smile spread across his face as he attempted to make Connie feel better, it worked like a charm as she was back to smiling again "So when will we be going?" Connie asked a big grin across her face "We could today, if your willing to walk with me back to the temple." Steven said thinking out how long it took him to walk to Connie's house in order to calculate how long it would take to get back and forth "That shouldn't be a problem!" Connie said chuckling a large smile plastered on her face, Steven chuckled himself "Well...how about the rest of that story? I won't cut you off again." Connie promised leaning across the table in wonder "Well to tell you the truth, thinking about my dream it was actually very short." Steven said seemingly embarrassed "You wanted to tell me." Connie said in a depressed manner eyes reflecting her disappointment "I didn't think you would be so invested." Steven said clearly concerned "You likened your dream to the one you had of Malachite, the biggest threat we ever had!" Connie said angrily staring at Steven in disbelief "I don't know what it is!" Steven screamed tears welling up in his eyes realizing that they may start fighting, Connie seeing this was shocked and became silent as Steven covered his face sniffling, getting up Connie made her way to Steven's side laying a hand upon his shoulder "Steven, it's okay..." Connie said softly regret evident in her face
