Izumi's Pov.

After a few more days, we were home and back into our routine. Kakashi was still getting teams, though he wouldnt pass them. It was kind of funny. I think its funny how none of the kids use teamwork anymore.

Its been about a week since we've been back.

"Izumi?" I spun around, coming face to.. chest with Kakashi. "Did I scare you?"

"Yes, baka." I scolded him, a small smile on my lips. His arm wrapped around my waist as I began drying  the dishes I had just washed. "You had better hurry up, your going to be late." I shivered as he pressed a kiss to my neck.

"They can wait a few minutes." He murmured aganst my skin. Rolling my eyes, I picked up another dish, moving back into him, and bumping him with my butt. He paused his rain of kisses on my neck, hands moving to my hips.

"Go on," I turned, shooing him away. "I'll be back before your even done." Kakashi had this gleam in his eye, filled with excitement.

"I dont see why I cant come with yo-"

"You have genin to work with, honey." I smiled. "If this is happening, you will be the first to know." Kakashi sighed but nodded, leaning down and pecking my lips. "Dont keep them waiting too long."

"I wont." He rolled his eye, smirking as he pullied his mask up, turning to leave.

"Oh, and tell Obito I said 'hey;," I laughed, watching as he chuckled nervously, before disappearing out the front door. "Goodness, Obito..." I whispered to myself, putting the dishes away.

A knock sounded on the door and then it opened, revealing my friend, Kurenai. She closed the door behind her. "Are you ready?" She was practically grinning. "I cant wait!" She laughed as I raised an eyebrow, wiping my hands on the dish towel. Straightening my shirt, I approached my friend, placing my hands on her shoulders.

"Calm down," I sighed. "Im so nervous.." I could feel myself trmbling the tiniest bit. Kurenai pulled me into a hug.

"You have lots of time if not." I nodded and grabbed my purse/bag, slinging it over my shoulder as she lead me from the apartment. "Dont worry." At her words.. my nerves eased up, but not as much as I would have liked.

"I appologize, Izumi." The doctor said as she stepped into the room, sitting down on a stool. "I was really hoping to bring good news, but, unfortunately, you arent pregnant."

"Oh, Izumi.." Kurenai wrapped an arm around my shoulders. "Im sorry... you were so looking forward to having a baby.."

"I-Its fine." I gave a weary smile. "We have plenty of time."

That was Three Years Ago.

A/N: This is the largest and last time skip! I promise!~

Present time~ About 3 Years Later~

"A new team?" I repeated, not quite sure I had heard correctly. Kakashi nodded in response as he sat down at the table. "But you havent passed a single one in the past. Why dont they just give up?" I placed his mug down in front of him, refilled with fresh coffee. "You would think they would learn."

"Yes, I know." He agreed, picking up the cup and taking a sip. Crossing my arms over my chest, I sighed. "But, I heard that this team will have Minato-sensei's son, Naruto on it." My head perked up at that little statement.

"Wasnt he going by Kushina's last name?" Kakashi nodded, putting his mug down. "That'll be an experience. Hokage-sama told me he has his mothers attitude, but his fathers looks..." I pondered to myself, mentally shivering at the thought of a mini Kushina. I had met her quite awhile back. And I loved her. She was always so sweet, but if you got on her bad side, all hell broke loose.

"It will." I huffed out a breath and turned to go into the kitchen. "Sasuke was placed on the team as well." I peeked over my shoulder at my silver haired boyfriend, eyes slightly wide. In all the time Ive been back, I had yet to speak to my little cousin. Sure I had run into him at the compound whilst visiting my brother, but I never spoke. Not even when he began questioning who I was.

"Sasuke?" Kakashi stood, and closed the distance between us, his hand moving to the top of my head. "I see.."

"I'll go on ahead and meet them, but you'll have to help with the test tomorrow. You really need to talk to him."

"I know. I should have done it awhile ago." Puffing out my cheeks, I pushed my hair back, before pulling the long strands over my shoulder and began braiding them."If they pass, I promise I will deal with him." Kakashi raised an eyebrow, but didnt question it. "Now go, your going to be late.. again." I stood on my toes, giving him a quick kiss on the lips before I pushed him away.

"Yes, dear." Before I could move away, he leaned down and captured my lips in a quick kiss. "I'll be back soon."

I smiled and nodded, watching as he turned to leave. He stopped and the door to pull his mask up, shooting me a loving look before he opened the door and left. Sighing, I picked his mug up and moved into the kitchen.

Alot has happened over the past few years. I found out I wasnt pregnant for starters. It really upset me since I was really looking forward to having a baby, but with promises of trying again, I was finally able to get back into motion. Since then, we have tried and tried, but it hasnt worked. Neither of us understand, especially since the doctor said there was nothing wrong with me at all. Im bummed about it, but Kakashi says that it'll happen when the time is right. And we'll finally have our family.

Kami, I love that man so much.

My kidnaper, surprisingly, was found dead in the Land of Snow by a few Leaf Anbu. It made me feel relief for once and I feel so much better.

"Alright," I muttered to myself as I swiped my fingers over my eyes. "Time to go." I grabbed my wallet and my bag, slinging it over my shoulder. "Time to go shopping..."  I left the house, locking the door behind me as I did.

I made my way through the streets, smiling and waving as a few familiar faces passed by. One in particular, was Kurenai. As soon as her eyes spotted me, she was by my side. I laughed as she said a breathy "Hello," and continued walking with me.

"What are you doing, Kurenai?" I asked as she looped her arm through mine.

"We're taking a girls day!" She grinned. I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Where are we going?" She asked after a minute of walking. I laughed lightly.

"Werent you getting a team today too?" She nodded.

"I already me them though! And now I have the rest of the day to spend with you!"

"What about Asuma?" Her cheeks reddened as I mentioned her 'friend'. "Dont you have a date planned for tonight?" I found it amusing how they tried to hide their relationship, though instead, they make it more obvious.

"R-Right.." Kurenai looked up at me with pleading eyes. "Please-"

"Its our little secret."

A few hours after our girl day, I finally stepped into the apartment, arms full of groceries. I spotted Kakashi slumped on the couch, book in hand, and his uniform still on. I frowned and hurried into the kitchen, putting the groceries away and making tea before I moved into the living room.

"Kakashi?" I said his name quietly, holding a cup of tea in my hand. "Honey, whats wrong?" I set it down on the coffee table, and slipped the unread book from his hands.

"Hm?" He finally seemed to snap from his daze, eye meeting mine. "Izu.. your home." I raised an eyebrow and dropped the book on the table beside the tea.

"Whats wrong?" I repeated the question, watching as he sat up, hands settling on my hips as he rested his head against my stomach. I wrapped my left arm around his shoulder, my right hand holding the back of his head, my fingers running through his hair and slipping his headband off.

"Its nothing." He muttered, just loud enough for me to hear him.

"Baka, its not nothing." I sighed, feeling his arms wrap around my waist fully.

"Four years," I frowned when he paused. "Its been four years since I got you back." My eyes widened for a moment before I smiled softly.

"It has, hasnt it." His arms tightened, and I took a deep breath.

"I love you, Izumi."

"I love you too, baka." I heard him chuckled, and I knew I had my perverted alien back. Of course, that wasnt it. Next thing I knew, I was picked up, carried to the bedroom, and tossed on the bed. My cheeks flushed but I giggled like a little school girl as he crawled on top of me, showering my face and neck with kisses.

Clothes were scattered everywhere, and I think my heart exploded. But I'll be alright.

I dont own Naruto.
