Izumi's Pov
Two days later

"Izumi, are you alright?" Tsunami asked, placing her hand on my shoulder as she looked down into my face with a worried expression.

"I'm fine, my stomach is a bit nauseous. That's all.." I placed a hand on my stomach, willing the gross feeling to go away. Of course, it only got stronger. "I-I'll be right back." I said hurriedly as I turned from the kitchen and rushed into the bathroom. I barely got the door shut before I was bending over the toilet and emptying the contents of my stomach.

It was disgusting to say the least.

When I was finished, I flushed and sat back, resting against the wall behind me.

"Izumi?" Tsunami's voice erupted from the other side of the door. "I'm coming in." The door opened and she slipped inside the room, closing the door behind her. "Are you alright?

"Yeah," I sighed. "I feel better now." I climbed to my feet and moved to the sink where I brushed my teeth.

"I wonder.." Tsunami frowned. "I honestly don't know what could have made you throw up like that.." With a shrug, I huffed out a breath.

"I'm not sure.." I said absently. "I'm fine now, let's finish up before they get back." She nodded, but still looked worried.

By the time everyone but the boys got back, I had thrown up three more times. It was gross, and very unsettling.

"Welcome back." Tsunami greeted, turning from her place at the stove. Kakashi nodded, Tazuna grunted, and Sakura said a cheery hello. "Dinner will be done in a little while."

"Izumi-sensei?" I hummed in response to the pink haired girl, turning from my task to meet her gaze. "Well... never mind, sensei." I raised an eyebrow but nodded.

When dinner was done, both Sasuke and Naruto stumbled in, and dropped into the seats. Almost as soon as food was placed in front of them, they started pigging out, and stuffing their faces.

As I watched them, my stomach churned with uneasiness, and I inwardly groaned. Without a word, I rushed to the nearest bathroom, and shut the door. Dropping in front of the toilet, I emptied my stomach inside... though nothing was coming up..

"Izu?" I flushed and sat back against the wall, trying to catch my breath, right as the door opened and Kakashi stepped inside, closing it behind him. "What's wrong?" He crouched down beside me and slipped one of his gloves off.

"Its nothing, just my stomach." I answered quietly as he pressed the inside of his wrist to my forehead. "I'm fine, don't look so worried, baka." I laughed lightly while poking a finger to his masked cheek. "Its been like this all day.."

Kakashi narrowed his visible eye as I started getting up. I quickly brushed my teeth and leaned against the counter. He followed my movement and stood, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Are you sure your alright?"

"Your such worry-er." I turned into him, letting my head lull to his shoulder. "I'll be fine. I'm sure it'll pass." Kakashi just hummed in response, resting his chin atop my head. I have to admit though, I'm a little worried myself. So many thoughts were running through my head. But I wont be sure until we're home. "I'm going for a walk." I finally spoke, ending the comfortable silence.

I felt so at home right where I was and I didn't want to move, but I needed to go and get some fresh air.

"Come on then," Kakashi pressed a kiss to my forehead as I pulled away. I wanted to laugh at the fact that he just invited himself. Of course I don't mind, I never mind his company. He's got this... calming aura around him.

We slipped from the bathroom, and headed to the door leading outside.

"Eh? Sensei? Where are you going?" Naruto spoke up, tilting his head to the side.

"We'll be back in a little while. Don't worry about it." Kakashi waved them off and stepped outside, I followed and closed the door. Taking my hand, he began walking. He's been doing good without the crutches, and he finally got rid of them.

We ended up in a clearing, one with two trees full of slash marks.

"They've gotten further than I thought." I mused, mostly to myself.

"They have." Kakashi agreed. His hand slipped from mine, as his arm wrapped around my waist. "Its getting dark.."

"Kakashi?"

"Hm?" The alien replied.

"Do you think..." I trailed off, then shook my head. "Never mind, its nothing."

"Izu." I sighed. "What's wrong?"

"I don't know.. I feel so... hormonal.." As embarrassing as that was to say, Kakashi only chuckled. "And my mind keeps drifting.."

"Drifting to what, sweetheart?" I shivered, but smiled at the nickname. It used to freak me out, but coming from Kakashi... it sends little butterfly's to my stomach.

"Things.." I took a deep breath. "How ironic.." I said dryly after a minute. Kakashi shot me a questioning glance, eyebrow lifted. "I'm hungry."

"Let's get you something to eat then."

And with that, our walk was concluded and we headed back to Tazuna's house.
