"My my, you seem well, Ryū," Tadashi smirked, only serving to enrage the other. 

"Why so tense?"

"You know why," he snarled. "You traitor! How dare you smirk!" 

"I have a right to," he shrugged. 

"Wow, still a hot-head, I see." 

Shika was frozen now. What could she do? Try to calm her brother? Would it even work? 

Ayame was scowling too, but she said, "Why work for someone like Shadousutōkā?" 

"Why not?" He asked back. "It's not like you care for me anyway." 

"What are you talking about?!" Ryū suddenly screamed, eyes emanating pure fury. "I TRUSTED YOU! I CONSIDERED YOU MY BEST FRIEND! I CARED! BUT YOU NEVER SAW YOU IDIOT!" 

"W-What?" Tadashi's eyes widened. Shika knew that look. He was genuinely surprised. 

"But you... You tried to kill me.... I can't forgive you.... I WON'T FORGIVE YOU!" 

"Ryū stop!" Ayame yelled. "Don't let your anger overwhelm you!" 

But as Ryū looked up to meet his ex-friend's eyes, Shika's heart fell to her stomach. 

His eyes were red, and he had a dark aura surrounding him. A dragon's tail was growing out of him, and his mouth opened to reveal sharp fangs like a king cobra's.

"R-Ryū?" Natsume's fearful voice didn't snap the red out of his eyes. 

Instead, he screamed before lunging for Tadashi.
