Hope you all are doing well by the mercy of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى

I am here with a person who is a beautiful sister in deen and a talented author of two beautiful soul touching stories i.e., In Your Love and In His Love. Her books are so beautifully written that one cannot help but fall in love with Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى‎ again and again. Please welcome, one and only, abdofRahman.

If you have not read her books, then please do read them. You will not regret reading it at all.

Let's get started with her interview.

********

1. Tell about yourself.

Name and meaning: Adila. It means fair and just.

Age: Does it matter? Just an old soul.

(A/N: Of course not!)

Nationality: Indian

Hobby: Reading a lot; observing, admiring and pondering upon the Creation of Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala, taking long walks amidst nature

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah!)

Relationship status (single/committed): Married Alhamdulillaah

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah!)

2. Describe yourself in few lines.

Lover of Ar Rahman and His beloved ﷺ. Shy and silent and my words are usually measured before speaking.

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah! Beautifully described!)

3. What good changes you want to bring in yourself?

A lot; I was a severe introvert, but striving to become better for the past few years. The results seem minuscule but at least I'm trying Alhamdulillaah.

4. Which book was your first book you read on Wattpad and what were your thoughts on it?

I don't recall the first book but I loved AnitaMisra's Rachel's story, so just to vote and comment on her work, I created this account all those years ago.

5. Tell us about your favorite books on Wattpad as well as offline.

Any work that reminds me of my Rahman ta'Ala becomes my favourite. Confessions of A Muslim Girl by LoveUnconditionally was the first ever Islamic Fiction work that I read on Wattpad and it became my favourite. I even wrote a tribute to it, which was the first work published here by me. I'm a fan of Attaruwa's writings. They're beautiful ma shaa Allaah.
My favourite books still include classics by authors such as Charles Dickens, Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, Eleanor Hallowell Abbot, Louisa May Alcott, L.M. Montgomery, Rafael Sabatini etc. And Islamic works by Sheikh Abdul Qadir Jilani r.a, Moulana Rumi r.a, Imam Ghazzali r.a, Moulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi r.a, Moulana Zakariyya r.a are inspiring and dear to me.
Finally, nothing can ever beat my absolute Favourite Author Rabbul 'Alameen and His Most Noble Book Qur'an e Kareem.

(A/N: Indeed! SubhanAllah!)

6. Which genre you prefer most and why?

Spiritual, first and most. I've read perhaps more than a thousand books since childhood, but only those which remind you of Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala and His beloved ﷺ is worth in the end.

(A/N: Indeed!)

7. Tell us about your experience as an author on Wattpad.

I'm not much of a writer, I prefer reading but I write to please our Rabbul 'Izzath and Alhamdulillaah that people find it worth reading. I've not been much active since I got married but I feel blessed and humbled, deeply grateful Alhamdulillaah that my readers wait so patiently for every update. Behind every successful author there are beautiful and wonderful readers.

(A/N: Indeed!)

8. Choose between the two.

Biryani/Pizza - A day old biryani

Black/White - Both in their own way

Novels/Movies. - Books

Happy ending/sad ending - Happy of course

Sun/Moon. - One is majestic, the other is beautiful and both remind me of Him SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala

9. What would be the one advice you would give yourself if you go back to six years?

To enjoy more with my family; once you get married your priorities change.

10. What are your ambitions in life?

To become a better abd of Rahman

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah! You have choosen your username so thoughtfully.)

11. Most people loves to prank others so do you. Did you ever pranked anyone in your life? If yes, share it with us.

No. Being really shy pranks weren't for me, though I've been pranked by my siblings and husband.

12. As a human we do things which make us feel embarrassed so tell us about your most embarrassing story.

I cringe just remembering it... and you want me to share it here ya Allaah!

(A/N: Here you remind me of Humaira!! Oh my! I miss her!!).

13. What is the most selfless thing you have done for someone? And apart from your mother, who is that person for you?

I'm trying to become better, only Rabb e Dhul Jalaal Knows whether my acts that I considered selfless were indeed pure in Niyyah. I've been greatly blessed Alhamdulillaah by two such persons - my didi and my husband.

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah! May Allah keep you united with your loveones always till your last breath, Aameen ya rab!)

14. Who are your most favorite Internet friends? Describe them in few words.

Aria08 Mosiac I miss you both a lot. You seem to have dropped out of earth. But I pray for you and hope you remember me in yours Duas too.
onyiza One of my best supporter and well-wisher, jazak Allaahu khair for being there in some of my toughest moments. May Allah bless you with good in both worlds! Aameen
zukzuk Always my favourite. Just remembering you brings a smile
00Just-Peachy00 I love you just for the sake of his ﷺ love whom you love so much!

15. Which quality you dislike the most in the people and would want to change?

Ingratitude to Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala and His people.

16. What are your ways of dealing with people?

Not a social person, I'm awkward and terrified dealing with people. Trying to become better though... and dealing with kindness is always rewarding.

(A/N: Indeed!)

17. Out of 10, how much would you rate your character?

Zero. It is others who should rate this. Especially our Rabb ta'Ala

(A/N: 💯)

18. What's the most important fuel of life in your opinion?

Intense Love for our Most Beautiful Rabb and His beloved Prophet ﷺ

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah!)

19. Which reminder would you like to give everyone through a verse of the Qur'an?

Ah there are many, here goes the favourite then:

And when My servants ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - indeed I am near. I respond to the supplication of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me and believe in Me that they may be guided.
[Al-Qur'an 2:186]

Say: "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, verily, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[Quran 39:53]

(A/N: SubhanAllah!)

20. How important is it for us to balance Deen and Dunya?

It is very crucial that we learn it. We've incorporated our culture and traditions as a part of Deen and left it tucked into a neat parcel of rituals such as only praying, fasting etc. When in reality our beautiful Deen ul Islam is a complete way of life. If we could let go of the fierce hold on the Dunya's -society's superfluous rules and regulations, it would become clear to us how easy, rewarding and fulfilling following our Deen is. Seeking and attaining Dunya is alright as long as all that ambition doesn't enter our heart and cloud our focus on the Niyyah to please Allaah Rabbul Izzath and His beloved Nabi ﷺ. The best way is to keep asking our Rabb to guide and bless us,

Rabbana Atina fid Dunya Hasanatan Wa Fil Akhirati Hasanatan Waqina Azaban Naar
(Surah Baqarah, 2:201)
"Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and
save us from the punishment of the Fire."

(A/N: SubhanAllah! So beautifully explained!)

21. Since majority of the youth don't realise their time of opportunity which starts from teenage, how prominently will you advice them to use it wisely?

Keep a journal. If you can't control, at least get to know how you're spending your days now that you're an adult in Islam. As soon as puberty hits, the angels on your shoulders start recording your deeds. Think of your journal as the book that would be given to you in Akhirah before the whole of mankind. Cultivate the habit of sincere repentance, we're all weak, we try, fall, fail, succeed and the order varies. If you want to become better, start slowly. Do loads of Dua to Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala and persevere in your efforts in being constant even if what you're doing is just a little something to please your Rabb. And always remember how our beloved Nabi e Kareem ﷺ said in a Hadith about the seven who will be under the Shade of His Arsh on the Last Day when there would be no shade except His Shade... one of them is a youth who grew up in the worship of Allaah.

(A/N: SubhanAllah! May Allah make us all spend our leisure time in the way of pleasing our Rab, Allahumma Aameen ya Rabb).

22. According to you, how necessary is it for one to stay disciplined? Don't you feel people lack the Sunnah lifestyle which should be brought back?

The difference between man and beast is that Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala has given us the power of discipline. We would become lower than animals if we indulge in everything that our nafs desires. Yes, the Muslim ummah suffers so much because it has given up on following the blessed Sunnah lifestyle of our beloved Nabi ﷺ

23. Name some Sunnah lifestyle which you follow?

I'm trying to smile at others a lot, it's very difficult for me being an introvert but I'm trying because our Nabi ﷺ is said to have smiled a lot.

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah! Smile is small act of charity too).

24. How responsible are you as a person? And what is your opinion on it being the most essential part of one's life?

I've a very bad habit of getting lost inside a book and becoming irresponsible. But otherwise I'm okay Alhamdulillaah, especially since I got married and suddenly had to take on roles as a responsible adult towards so many things, so now can't just do those things that we enjoyed when being young and single. I think responsibility teaches us selflessness and we become trustworthy on practicing it.

25. What message would you like to give to those who play blame game? Don't you think one should take full responsibility over their wrong?

As humans, we have always choice, to blame someone else for our mistake is not an admirable trait and doesn't get us anywhere. Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala says in the Qur'an how the one who sinned/committed shirk would blame shaitaan but in reality it is not so, shaitaan never has the power to make us sin, he merely whispers and whispers, the choice to either thwart or succumb to the whisperings is up to us. The full responsibility of our wrongs would fall upon us in the Akhirah so it is always better to repent and repent, trying to learn from our mistakes.

(Their allies deceived them) like Shaitan (Satan), when he says to man: "Disbelieve in Allaah." But when (man) disbelieves in Allaah, Shaitan (Satan) says: "I am free of you, I fear Allaah, the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)! [59:16]"

26. What would you like to do in your leisure time?

Read... sew, and listen to Islamic lectures.

27. How do you feel being a Muslimah? And what are the changes you would like to bring to the world?

When I think about the blessing of being born, raised and living as a Muslimah, I feel so overwhelmed with gratitude at the Mercy of my Rabbe Rahman. I don't know, I don't have such lofty ambitions. I just strive to bring good changes inside my own heart and soul.

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah!)

28. How did you discovered Wattpad and what was your first experience?

I was searching for a historical romance story to read and found this website. I was a silent reader so the experience was alright Alhamdulillaah.

29. Tell us about your first story that you wrote on Wattpad.

The Last Queen. It's a fantasy story about a girl called Zaiba who happens to be the lost daughter of a King and Queen from different worlds. Full of action, adventure, a little romance it was too big a novel for me to grasp hold of. So I took it down and let it lie content in my system's folder.

30. How did you get the idea for your first story?

Barring experiences, what you read is what you write at first. I used to take an unhealthy dose of fantasy novels and so my story naturally revolved around that theme, only in a more Islamic setting as Zaiba is a hijabi princess who could shoot arrows, fight with swords and rides beautiful horses!

(A/N: Wow! That book looks so interesting. I am sure we all would have loved it if it was up).

32. What is your inspiration?

Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala and His Nabi ﷺ

(A/N: Ma Shaa Allah!)

33. Are your stories benefitting? What lessons we can learn from them?

If Alaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala wills, they would benefit. All I want is that my readers always remember His beautiful Love for us helpless servants. And how without following the lifestyle of our beloved Prophet ﷺ our acts would become devoid of barakah and rahmah of Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta'Ala. In Sunnah there is always success.

(A/N: Indeed, so true!)

33. As a reader, why should I read your book?

I don't know, just to fall in love with our Rabb perhaps.

(A/N: I already fall in love with my Rabb again after reading your book. Alhamdulillah!)

34. Writers mostly go through writer blocks and you must have also went through it. How do you deal it and how we can overcome it?

Reading usually helps, and asking loads of Dua to Allaah SubhanaHu wa ta 'Ala for guidance. Observe, jot down notes, go out and experience and if you're stuck with a scene or story, then begin another. Recite Darood and Salaam upon the beloved of Allaah ﷺ, it always helps.

(A/N: SubhanAllah! What a beautiful way. Jazakillahu Khairan Katheeran Katheera for sharing it. ❤)

35. Which is your favourite scene amongst the book you have written?

In IYL, the first book of Eternal Ishq series, the mc Humaira aboard a ship and looking at the stunning beauty of the night sky studded with stars recites,

"Rabbanaa maa khalaqta hadhaa baatilan subhaanaka faqinaa 'Adhaaban naar "
Our Lord! You have not created this in vain. Glory to You! Save us, then, from the chastisement of the Fire.
Surah Imran 191

And the hero listens to it from the darkness of night feeling comforted by the voice and words even though he couldn't comprehend their meaning.

(A/N: SubhanAllah! I loved that scene a lot. It touched his heart so deeply. SubhanAllah!)

36. Describe:

▪Love - every atom is drunk in it, revolving around in the ishq of our Rabbul Alameen; if only man could realise it before too late.

(A/N: Aweeee, so beautifully described. Ma Shaa Allah!)

Friendship - true friendship is a blessed blessing.

(A/N: Indeed. ❤😍)

▪Trust - Hasbi Allaah, Sufficient for us is Allaah. There is no trust greater than trusting Him our Creator in everything.

(A/N: SubhanAllah! Indeed!)

Family - the way we're moulded begins from them. Family is always a mixture of blessing and trials.

(A/N: 💯)

Life - Should feel worthy of the honour that Allaah Rabbul Izzath gave us life as a human being. He did not make us as animals or inanimate objects, rather gave us a beautiful life Alhamdulillah so we should do our best to please Him always.

(A/N: True, indeed!)

37. What is that one thing that you used to love the most in the past but now you don't like it?

I don't think I have such a thing.

38. Your favorite childhood memory.

When I used to run like the wind barefoot in the streets.

(A/N: Awww)

39. Describe your school life and your most favorite school memory.

It was alright Alhamdulillaah. I changed schools a lot because of circumstances but being nerdy I survived Alhamdulillaah. Yet being an introvert and especially in teens I struggled a lot unable to fit in anywhere. I've some favourite memories, not exactly a most favourite one.

(A/N: Aww, I can completely feel you. I am also an introvert. Hahaha!)

40. If you were wrongfully put into an insane asylum, how would you convince them that you're actually sane and not just pretending to be sane?

Leaving out the insane asylum part, who is it there in this dunya who are really completely sane? Aren't there so many times when we just pretend to be sane though inside everything is chaos? It is always our Rabb's Mercy that keeps us grounded to reality.
But then again, what is really reality? Is it this life which inevitably leads to death? And how is it that, even witnessing the truth of death we can serenely continue on our same old pursuits, not really bothered for how our moments are being accounted, so who is actually sane? Is it not the person who upon reaching death can say hopefully that he did his best?!
(Thank you for asking this question, I wonder whether they would let me go when I present such an answer before them)

(A/N: You are so righttttttt. I completely agree with you. Of course, they will when they will find themselves insane too).

41. Would you rather eat chocolate that taste like bugs or bugs that taste like chocolates?

Neither. I don't eat chocolates or bugs.

42.Would you rather live under a sky with no stars at night or a sky with no clouds during the day?

I don't know. The sky is there, that's enough I guess as I love looking at the heavens Alhamdulillaah

43. Would you rather be lost in a bad part of a town or lost in a forest?

Forest.

44. Would you rather have a five minute conversation with your past self or future self?

I would be grateful to have such a conversation with my present self. It heeds me not at all and is a great trial indeed.

(A/N: Indeed!)

45. Would you rather, fulfill your biggest wish or resolve your biggest regret?

Resolve.

46. If you were arrested with no explanation, what would your friends and family assume you had done?

Eh, they would think the cops are mistaken. I'm a good girl if you ask them, when in reality it is always such a great struggle to do or be good

(A/N: True indeed. Being a good person when the world around is cruel is a biggest struggle).

47. If you could make a rule for a day and everyone had to follow it, what would it be?

Fall in love with your Rabb and His beloved ﷺ

(A/N: SubhanAllah!)

48. If you could lock up one person in a mental institution, who would it be?

Can't I have more than one person? :(

(A/N: Sureeee why not? 🤣)

49. A Message to readers and to all those who are struggling in writing.

To my readers, I'm always deeply grateful for your love and support, jazak Allaahu khairan katheeran katheera! For those who struggle in writing, every author goes through that, so no need to worry. Just keep writing and of course reading a lot! Improve your grammar, learn, experience, reflect and keep your Niyyah to please your Lord. It is what would help in the end in shaa Allaahu ta'Ala. Remember me in your Duas.
