Despite of being the weekend, the cafe was almost empty. Jade sat at her usual spot in the corner and scanned the whole room for the familiar face. Today's not my day I guess! She quietly took out her book and started reading it.

Just then a tall masked figure came to her table and greeted her. "Hi, is the seat taken?"

Jade looked over her book. It's the same guy, no it's him! Is it really him? It's HIM!

Her face was red with the shock she received. "Annyeonghaseyo, no it's empty." She somehow managed to say those few words.

"I'm taking this chair to my table then. My one has wet paint on it.", he smiled.

"Sure", Jade didn't know what else to say. Did she expect him to sit with her? And do what, enjoy a meal with her while chitchatting. Well that's exactly what she had thought through in those few seconds, but the embarrassment she faced was beyond explaination. She rushed to the washroom to get a hold of what just happened.
