I picked the last petal off of the yellow flower before ripping the petal apart.

So I just dropped out.

Oops.

My brother is being nice to me.

"Hey Roxanne, we need to talk."I looked up at my brother.

"Fine, sit down."I grumbled.

He took a spot next to me in the grass.

"Listen Roxanne, I want to fix things between us." Andy said.

"Oh do you now?"I scoffed.

"Yes, I do. The other day I went to apologize to you like mom asked and I saw you cutting yourself. I realized all my mistakes and I'm so sorry."He said.

I looked at him.

"I don't know if I can believe you..."I whispered.

"I know I can't take back anything that I've said or done to you, but I'm willing to try again. I want to make it up to you."He said.

I sighed.

"Fine. But you're not 100 percent forgiven until you go a whole month without being mean to me. Then we'll see."I spat.

He smiled.

"Thank you for this."

I rolled my eyes.

"Let's just go home."I said and stood up.

Mom isn't gonna be happy that we're both home.

But maybe she'll understand if I explain it to her.

We walked home silently.

I didn't say anything, just thinking.

What was he thinking?

Did he hit his head on something?

It makes me confused to have him all of a sudden love me again because he saw me self harming.

We both walked inside and saw a note on the table.

'Dear Roxanne, Andy,

Dad and I went on a vacation for a month.

Don't destroy the house, or have parties, and Andy don't hurt your sister.

Mom & Dad.'

Well I guess telling her that we dropped out was gonna have to wait.

I sighed and pulled soda out of the fridge, pouring it into my glass.

"At least we made up."Andy smiled.

I nodded.

"This also means, you show me you truly care while mom and dad are gone."I said and sipped my soda.

He nodded at me and opened his arms for a hug.

I rolled my eyes and pushed passed him going up into my room.

He doesn't deserve a hug.
