Scarlett's P.O.V.

We stood in front of the house. It was almost completely destroyed but there were still some parts that were almost untouched. I looked at my brother and he simply nodded. I walked forward and climbed up the stairs of the porch and slowly opened the door. I squinted at the sound of how it creaked.

I walked in ready to pounce if anyone attacked me.

"Well this place looks like shit," I heard a voice say.

I quickly turned around to see Sarah.

"Jeez you scared the shit out of me," I said lightly hitting her.

"Oh don't get your panties in a twist," she chuckled.

"We don't have time for this. We have to settle in and find Laura," Derek said walking up behind her.

"I don't know about you but I think I'm gonna go see if my uncle will accept me to live with him since this place is not suitable for living," she said walking around.

Derek rolled his eyes and went upstairs.

"First off all its not like your gonna die and second I doubt he'll let you live with him. Your parents stopped talking to him when you were like 6 so he wouldn't find out about you guys being supernaturals," I said putting down my bags.

"Two rooms were left untouched from the fire!" Derek yelled.

Sarah looked at me and went upstairs. I slowly followed.

"We've got mother's room and mine," he said to me.

"Well it was nice to talk to you guys I'll be leaving now," Sarah said heading to the stairs, but slowly turned around, "Can you drive me, I still haven't gotten my license."

I rolled my eyes and turned to Derek.

"Drive her, I still need to look around and make sure we're alone," he said throwing the keys at me which I immediately caught.

Sarah ran downstairs and into the car before I could even turn around. I sighed and followed her. I turned on the car and she directed me to the place. Once we got there she got out of the car and grabbed her bags. She then walked over to my window. I rolled down the window and looked at her.

"We'll still see each other at school and stuff and when we plan our next move," she said.

I smiled and looked down, "I'll miss having a girl to talk to all the time."

"Me too, but we can still call and text and stuff," she smiled hugging me, "Okay enough with the mopey stuff, he hasn't even accepted me yet."

I chuckled, "K I'll wait here in case your plan backfires."

She rolled her eyes and went to the door. She knocked on it and an older man opened it. He was wearing a sheriff uniform. They started talking but I decided not listen to their conversation. Soon I saw them hug and knew she was welcomed. Sarah turned and waved at me and so did the man. I waved back and they closed the door. I was about to leave when I felt eyes on me. I looked at the house and my gaze slowly went up to one of the windows. A boy about my age, in human years, was looking at me. He hade dark brown buzz cut hair and chocolate brown eyes. We both made eye contact and just kept staring. He looked like my ex boyfriend but with quite a few noticeable differences.

Right when I thought that I pressed my foot against the gas pedal and left. Every time I think about Henry it just reminds me of what I did. I can't even think about every getting a boyfriend ever again.
