I didn't leave the house early today because Harry was sick but because I knew that if I'd seen Herm, I would have spilled the beans. During lunch break today, I stayed in my office and slowly drifted off to sleep.

When I wake up it is five minutes till I have to go back to lunch. My phone rings, it is Shailene. Well only a text.

When I check it, it is about some event that happened between Liam, George and Hermione. I know that I would have to talk about my actions at some point but I know that I'm not ready yet. I go about my normal routine and once my shift is over, I leave the building. I see Liam leaning against his car which is parked next to mine.

"Mr. James!" He says acknowledging me. "Yes Liam?" I reply. "Ummm I know that I should ask her this myself but is there something going on between Hermione and George?" Then just like that he unravels the entire story of that morning. It was exactly the same as Shailene's. I was shocked that George payed no heed to that message I sent. I firmly reassured Liam that he is the one my daughter actually likes.

After doing so he drives off while I sit in my car and send George a text from me:

If you want to stay alive, try to be a gentleman and stay away from my daughter because she has someone who loves her. You'll only ruin her life by interfering. If you make any more moves on her you'll pay for it.

After sending it, I know that I have to talk to Hermione about this. Before going home I drive to the nearest jewellery shop and buy Shailene a diamond necklace, considering the fact that it is our 18th wedding anniversary tomorrow.
