Long update

Avni was now conscious and Aru, Aryan and  Karan went in to see her.

Avni in very serious tone- what was all that?(looking straight)

Aryan-(in the same tone but little sarcastically) as if u don't know what was that but u tell me what is with u??

Avni looked away as she knew that they r not in the mood to answer her questions and to top it was that stupid doctor who was looking at her with grim face.

Avni-ohk.... that's enough. I know that u have already accomplished ur mission by taking my blood samples, so don't give me that look of urs.

Karan opened and closed his mouth few times. Aryan loved it but he knew that he was upset with her so ignored that.

Aru was no less she too was very upset but she quickly took the phone and clicked her pic and whatsapped someone.

Avni-( pissed off ) what was that? Whom are u sending this now?

Aru- as if u ain't known whom....unless u wish to hear it from me, I can do the honours.

Aryan-nope that rascal needs to be addressed by someone near to him like me. He was the one to bring u here.

Avni-(rolling her eyes ) along with ur so great wifey is that right?

Karan-(in fake stern tone) had I not informed that u can't have fever again.... what's with u? Can't u be serious atleast for us if not for u?

Avni-(sighs) stop being fake when u can't be one. And who would know that fever comes with a pre informed weather as if hello ak, this is fever here. Are u free so that I can visit ur body! Stop being that childish just a weather change and nothing to worry. M good.

Aryan-yes !! I am alright but that's the job of... although I hate to say that but yes this monkey is there with his hardwork u know to certify the health status of urs. So u keep quiet.

AK- atleast have some mercy on the pateint if not me.

Karan- I can't (in stern voice) as a doctor,I can't!

AK-(same tone) but u can take samples without consent is it?

Aryan-(gesturing Karan) ok fine u get to see the reports but then we all would be there too . Promise that u will see it first but Infront of us. Tell me if u r ok or I ask the don...I mean Karan to send it to me directly?

AK-(raising hands in air) fine!!

Aru-ok so when can we take her??

Karan- Well! Let her be here for few hours and then u can take her.

Aryan-ok! U stay here Aru , I am coming after some work completion.

Aru understood what his mind was thinking and where he was going.

She went behind him and asked him to not to act stupid and increase the issues. He assured her to be in control n left.

Once he got to know about Neil's penthouse, he went there.

He straightaway ranged the bell without any second thoughts.

Neil opened the door and was furious to see him at the door. But poor he how can he ignore a guest at the door, so he let him in.

Neil-y r u here!?(in no nonsense tone)

Aryan-(in the same tone ) same applies to u , y r u here Neil?

Neil-(fisting his hands) look m not....

Aryan-I know that u r not here to get her back but then y are u torturing her?

Neil-(a betrayed look) torturing....me and what did she do ? And most importantly y r u here....to take her side or to show that she has moved on!

Aryan-(annoyed) I don't need any proof to show that m by her side and talking of moving on , yes she has(in mind) but u buddhu won't see it!

Neil-(in furious tone) fine then thanks for informing as I have nothing to do with her!

Aryan- but I have ! Karan has , Aru has , krishnavati has with ak over here. For u Avni might be a cheater, betrayer, fraud , heartbreaker everything that u name it but for us she is a avatar of Krishna here.

She with her constant efforts has resulted in getting help for all the womens , she is the one that donkey Karan is on his feet walking freely, all over here considers her as an angel. What do u want by ruining her. Ok I understand that she left u all of sudden with her death drama and all but now after 2 years ain't u happy to see her back? What would u have prayed if Avni would have seriously gone ? I can tell u as I too have lost someone dear to me and everyday we feel that at least we get to see her glimpse and when she is there u instead of staying and rejoicing with her u r hurting her!

Neil-(chuckles ) what a lecture must say!!!!..... What did she tell u haan! And rejoicing..... What rejoice is there to do...ahhh...let me think ...yes that she was alive and then too she faked her death....she was just too young to die and that too for an elderly lady who treated her like her own daughter. I have seen them everyday finding ways to escape the fact of her death and here all she did is enjoyed her life!!

Aryan-(looking at him in disbelief) yeah ! Right. I, me , myself, my things...but in all these where is she ? U know right that she craved of one thing only and that was family. When she got urs,did u for even gave a second opinion thought that how can she betray them. She left them for a major reason best known to her as I have been observing her since she's with me. She too is broken with the fact that she potrayed her death. U all might be at peace knowing somewhere that Avni is heaven with her mom and Neela aunty but for her every breath is a struggle, a new struggle to bare the guilt she had within. She is dieing every moment and I can say that.

U knew right that she loved u? Ok! Let's see it this way that she started to hate u or the love was fake but if she did then y did she accepted mishti as she was introduced as ur child right? Leave that y would have she saved u from riya? Let's consider that she did it as she hated dwm but then what about the jail incident? Did u ever thought for once about her acts. I was not informed about this from her but rather I had to ask about her to people. Are even I could see that she was so much dedicated for u that she was ready to kill and get killed. She somewhere thought about u failing to get vidyut and maybe she did this to save ur honour. I guess u don't need to see this as u r in ur own emotional puddle to think about anything as well. It was useless to come and talk to u. I thought that u did cared for her but here the thing is u got so used to relationships which were for granted as ur past that u thought everything and everyone else too feel the same.

Neil-what do u wanna tell me that my love for Avni was a fluke and timepass?

Aryan- it's not what I am telling rather ur track record, u r cop na so u must be knowing behaviour patterns u know? Like juhi riya avni juhi .....Avni. do u need any more explanation? And if u need then too m not gonna give cause if even for a moment u would have truly loved Avni than u would never leave a chance to get her back.

Neil-(in sarcastic tone) yes!! I am only the one who is insane here right? What do u think u r? R u her new bf or u are in some relationship that u r here to defend u??
Y so much care and attachment to just a stranger?

Aryan-(he was thoroughly done here) u r not at all nearby where Avni described about. I pity her that she once loved u to such LENGHTS that she even lost her mom saving ur family!! I think my biggest mistake was to come here and explain u about her situation but once again she was right that I shouldn't have dealt with u. U know now that I am standing with u in the same room is making me feel suffocated. No wonder that she was ill just by meeting u. For god sake leave her and let her spend rest of her life with her way.

And he didn't waited hear him out and left from there.

Here Neil was just removing all his pent up anger towards Aryan and the events where everyone is taking Avni's side despite of her doings making him wonder if he is the one at fault.

There at hospital as Avni got the reports and was gonna ask them that once Aryan would be at home -she , Karan and aru would see them. After a lot of persuasion she was left till the evening.

Aryan had messaged her that he would be coming in an hour so she excused herself saying she needed the fresh air. Aru had insisted that she would be accompanying but then Avni very clearly and cleverly asked her to prepare her famous puran poli so she can be left alone

She went to the garden area where no one there . She had discovered during one of her sundays. She quietly came and sat at her place and was looking at the sky. She was praying everyday to be the last day of her life due to the guilt but the god had other plans so he let her leave and these reports too were the one where she wished that it would be her call towards the appointment to meet her mothers.

Mentally asking both the mothers to be with her and she opened the reports. She had been experiencing something weird with the body since few days or precisely months but she ignored.

Neil was also so furious that he too left for some quiet area and luckily the garden was near to his house. He was lost in his bubble while Avni in her's .

Both eventually sat back facing each other but engrossed in their worlds.

Here Avni quickly glanced the report and finally at the last was what she needed the most. She was having sorrow in one eye but somewhere the happiness of liberating herself from the burden seemed most important for her. She had tears in her eyes but couldn't say by seeing her that they were happy tears.

She was somewhere lost in the battle to stay head strong after the vidhyut fiasco. Since childhood she had to fight for what she was and destiny forced her to turn herself from Avni to ananya. Then Neil forced her to turn Avni from ananya. Then again destiny.....this would have continued and she had no patience left in her to stay strong fight. She had somewhere suffocated the urge to stay positive and strong. She for once wanted to be Ayesha rather than neela. Ayesha who always lost in front of destiny whereas neela who always challenged destiny.

She was rejoicing and happy tears made her way. She cried at her happy tears and the sniffing noise made Neil turn around and look at the intruder. Just as he turned around he saw Avni and all the words of DD and Aryan came back and seeing her this happy with smile and eyes lacking it's shine made him more furious.

He quietly got up stood in front of her

Neil-well not bad haan!! Good na ! Here all think that u r suffering cause of me and see the irony u are happy. What a great thing is it?

Avni quickly grabbed the reports together and kept it in her handbag. Neil did saw the hospital symbol though she was hurry to hide them. He thought of it to be her blood reports and he was wondering y would she be happy by seeing the reports? And today he would get his answers by hook or by crook.

AK- m sorry. Did Aryan said something? Or aru (panicking)

Neil-well!(aur bhi gusse me) seems u both have a good connection, pehle use bhejhti ho aur ab ye natak....

AK-(in soft voice) I don't even know that he came there ,he said that he had work. What did he say?

Neil-the same that DD was telling me that u r innocent. Don't know what magic have to spell on them to not see that I too am the sufferer. All they care is that u r suffering.(in  annoyed way) for the last time m asking u Avni y? Y did u decided to make us this!? Were we not enough for each other? Was I that incapable to protect u against vidhyut. Was there any fault of mine that u left without even informing.

AK-(in broken voice) Neil....... Listen.

Neil-(wiping his face) nothing then truth Avni no more of playing games. I am tired Avni , I literally am. Don't mess me up more.

AK- (in a composed way) let the bygones be bygones Neil, there is nothing left to be known. I am a betrayer Neil and u have been betrayed by my love for u(,not making an eye contact) we were just a mistake Neil. I was never meant to be be anyone and that's what I have done Neil. I already was planning to go away from here as well. I know seeing me alive would crush u to core and I had never intended to be found like this. Just that I too am guilty of my act to make u all suffer but m no where regretting my decision. It's still the same. That was the need Neil and it's better if u move on. Don't stay at the page which is old and rusted . Too damaged to be even read. Go Neil and I too am going away asap . I would be grateful to u if u keep my secret and try to move on. Treat these days as if nightmares and we never met. I will let u go Neil, I already had. Trust me it wasn't easy but now it's just right Neil.

Neil grabbed her by cupping her cheeks and making her look at him.

Neil-y Avni? Itna aasan tha kya? Agar aaj bhi tumhe ye galti par pachtava hai to phir ye bhaagna kyu? Mujhe batao, kya chal rha hai tumhare dimaag mein. Aise kaise move on karu ,pyaar kia hai tumse. Please Avni ab aur nhi hota hai (saying so he broke down)

AK-(in tears as well holding him) m sorry Neil! I really am. Bhulna hoga Neil tumhe aur unhe bhi . Mein bas ek chapter hu tumhari life ke book ki . Mera ab koi wajood nhi hai tumhari life mein. Mera mitna hi jaruri hai tumhari life ke story mein. Jao Neil mat pareshan karo khudko. Bebe, maa , papaji, Ali, DD, sunheri sab ko tumhari jarurat hai. Please mera gussa unpe mat nikalo. Sab bohot acche hai , unki zimedaari tumpe hai Neil. Kuch daago ka mitna hi jaruri hota hai warna kapde par daag acche nhi lagte.

Neil-(got up and looked at her) u know right Jo tum kar rhi ho uska haq tumhe nhi hai. Ye humari kahaani hai Avni aur aise kaise tum akele hi sab kuch jo marzi aaye kar sakti ho?ek baar nhi baar baar tum aisa hi kar rhi ho. Avni!!! Kya hua tha please batao us din. Aisa kya keh diya tha vidhyut ne ki tum Neela maa ki prarthna paath mein bhi nhi thi. Tum uske ghar kaise pohunche. AK-(in broken voice) ek baat tumne notice ki Neil?(he looked at her all confused) jab bhi hum itne saanth hote hai tab tab kuch kuch hua hai. Jaha tak mere ghar tak jaane ki hai to usne mujhe uksaaya tha. Neela maa ke baad mujh mein Jo aaj thi usme usi ne aahuti de thi isiliye mujhe ye karna pada. Agar tumhe batati to tum kanoon ki tod dete and mujhe vo manzoor nhi tha. Aur ab jab meri maut ko sabne accept kar liya hai to mein nhi aana chahti. Bhul jao Neil ki hum mile, jao Neil happy family ke paas. Tumhare liye,mere liye,sabke liye.

Neil-(in mind) Jo bola vo sach to hai na?? Kyu aisa lag rha hai isne aur kuch bhi chupaaya hai. Baar Baar mujhe jaane ki bol rhi hai.

Theek hai chala jaunga lekin tumhe lekar. Ab mein hu na sab theek kar dunga.

AK-(in mind) ab Kuch theek nhi hoga Neil, mein tumhare saath nhi aaungi. Tum aur mein ab ek nhi ho sakte.

AK- Ghar......m.. mein...

Neil-(cupping her cheeks) tumhe kya lagta hai kaise honge!?( Seeing her tears) they are bleeding everyday Avni , every moment. Dad ko apni beti har roz utni yaad aati hai ,itna to mein bhi nhi. Jaanti ho mein kehta tha ki tumne meri family cheen li, sab sach tha avni aur isiliye mujhe aur bhi gussa aaya tha tum par. Har kisiko ye lagta tha ki mein galt hu , unko nhi pata tha ki tum zinda thi but phir bhi sab aaj bhi tumhe utna hi yaad karte hai. Mein yaha hu iska to vo celebration kar rhe honge.

Avni- kyu??(in soft wishper)

Neil-kyunki mein unhe kuch bhi tumhari pasand ka karne nhi deta, unhe vo suffocated lagta tha. Ek din to bheema ne poha bana dia tha aur mein us par gussa ho gya aur dad ne bebe ke saath milkar use tip di. Itna gussa the vo mere behaviour se.

Aman ne ab baat karna chod dia hai mujhse , jyaada se jyaada vo Ali se milta hai. DD aur meri bhi ab nhi jamti, use apni Bhabhi ki koi galati nhi dikhti aur mujhe galatiyaan hi dikhay deti hai. Sunheri ne tumhare baad ghar ko sambhalne ki puri koshish ki lekin dd ne us se abhi tak Shaadi nhi ki!! DD ko bhi shaq tha ki tum.....

Avni-(shocked) DD!!! Kaise??

Neil-(frowns) tubelight !! Vo bhi ek police officer hai. Usne mujhe dekha tha aur tumhari fake body ko bhi! Usne apni investigation ki aur meine apni. Mujhe bhi ye kal hi pata chala hai. Pehli baar usne mujhe sawaal kiya tha in 2 saalo mein. Use to shayad ye bhi pata chal gya hoga ki tum zinda ho.

Avni-(in mind) meine ye pucha hi kyu ? Ab inhe chodhna aur bhi mushkil hoga.

Just then she saw the young Avni there....

Young Avni- mat jaa us raah jaha se tera janaza nikal chuka hai. Bhul mat dayawanti nhi to ragini ya phir vidhyut...koi na koi aa hi jaayega.....ye tere liye nhi hai, yu dusron ki tarah normal life , happy family ye sab ek bharm hai tere liye. Chali jaa yaha se kahi due jaha is baar koi na aa sake.

Neil was calling her since long but she didn't answered ultimately he shaked her shoulder to get her back.

Avni-haan!! Neil kya hua hai.

Neil-Kaha khoyi ho tum?

Avni- Kuch nhi bas aise hi....she saw that her was vibrating so she answered the call and kept it on speaker.

Aryan- chashni tujhe na mujhe ab ek room mein bandh Kar rakhna hoga, Kaha gyi hai tu?

Avni-(rolls her eyes)

Aryan- don't roll ur eyes and open ur mouth

AK- hey ! U can't talk to me like that and I came to get some fresh air and ask ur beloved aruwi had informed her that m going then...

Aryan- whatever...I wanna see ur reports remember deal that u had to read it with us. Come back home m waiting with a team already shooting their nasty glares at me.

AK- dude u deserve it totally and m coming with Neil. U better behave and see u.

Aryan-what am I hearing that u r getting that Mr. Garam dimaag....listen he already spoilt my mood and now here too. Have spme mercy on me Yaar.

AK-well that's what u get for going against me. I had asked u to not to mess with him but see. Now be quiet m coming.

She ended the call n turned towards Neil

AK- chale?

Neil - uhmm!!!

AK- Neil I know that u won't be at peace before knowing about my reports. Besides Aryan is not that bad.

Neil-(like a kid) u mean ki he is thoda bad right?

AK- ahhh! Neil now come.

She drove towards the mansion.

All were eagerly waiting for her arrival and were happy seeing her with Neil who had a tight smile.

Aru- so finally is that what m assuming?

Aryan- u keep it to urself, she isn't dumb to accept that hit head ....do foot ki dinasour.

Aru- Aryan!!!!!!

Aryan- Han meri dinasour

AK- guys now stop it see Karan is so scared!

Karan- what the !!! Y did u dragged me in and btw where r ur reports?

AK- I know it....u won't be at peace right? Chalo let's see, actually m in no mood to see them. Can u do the honours?

Karan- jab mujhe hi dena tha to itna built up??

Aryan- read it fast.

He read the reports and they were normal. Once he confirmed that Aryan read them.

Aryan-- Yaar donk...I mean Karan yaha par ek report gayab hai shayad!

Neil-which??

AK- ok ! Now enough. I m hungry mahn!! Give me food u two

Aru- yes! Chal Avni I will serve u.

Aru dragged her while Aryan looked at Karan and both were talking thru eyes.

Neil-is everything ok?

Karan-yes! I guess as one report is missing and due to holidays we would be getting it on Monday but rest is ok!

Aryan- waise don..

Karan- Karan naam hai mera and dare u call me ever with that name. Doctor hu uska to lihaaz karle.

Aryan-bichaara wo hipoporates kitna dar gya hoga tujhe doctor dekh kar.

Neil-it's hipocrates.

Karan- exactly!!

Neil-(in confusion) shrimati??

Karan- aur kya bulayega apni biwi ko??

Aryan- Karan ke bacche!!! Kisne bola tha usko bolne??

Aryan-now don't behave like daily soap bahu....kya....kya kya types. And yes she is my wife and ak urf Avni khanna is my childhood bestie. Yakeen nhi to Ali se puch lena mere baare mein.

Neil- yaani tum aur Avni!!!

Karan-come on dude do u still think ki Avni kisiko bhi aise apni life bana degi. Tumse itna pyaar kia hai ki ab to aisa lagta hai ki hum barson se mile hai na ki aaj. Bohot kum baate karti hai lekin jab bhi karti hai tab ya to tumhari ya neela aunty ki ya phir apni family ke. Tumhari family mein Prakash Khanna,Shweta Khanna aur Bebe ... I mean harleen khanna hai na?

Neil-h...Haan(getting shocks after shocks)

Aryan-ye abhi bhi sadme mein hai. Bhai Neil..... Haan ye sab sach hai.

Neil-to phir Aradhya tumhari wide hai to tumne use yu employee ki tarah...?

Aru- vo mujhe tumse personally milna tha as stranger and agar bata deti ki mein ye akdu ki biwi hu to tumhe bhi akad aa jaati and Aryan also wanted to irritate u as he was highly irritated with u.

Neil-( in immediate reaction) y what had I done to him? So much irritated?

Aryan- bro what nhi what not!! Pehle Avni ki wrist pe ghav and then go sab insulting and hurting words. U thoroughly pissed me up. Itna to mujhe is donkey be bhi nhi Kiya tha.
And u misinterpreted my friendship as something more wrong and I wanted to irritate u to hell. Itna ki meine ye decide bhi kar liya tha by ur behaviour ki ya to mein end mein bachunga ya tum as we both can't stand each other.

Neil- and I didn't misinterpreted u.... Kaun kisike cabin mein aise hi ghus jaata hai bina knock kiye and aise tight hug karta hai? Vaise wait fault na mera nhi hai Avni ka hai apne koi bhi friend se milaya nhi hai and uski friendship na mere level se kahi aur ka hai to main kaise samjhunga. Vaise aradhya  tumhe ye dono psycho nhi lage?

Aryan-hey m not psycho but ur wife surely is ok??

Aru-actually pehle mujhe na badi ajeeb si baat lagti thi, whenever we used to meet aur even after my marriage with this bandar was finalized he would atleast once take Avni's name. I first assumed it to be his crush and he openly admitted as well.

AK- what!??(screamed) Aryan!!!(glaring at him)

Aryan-hey but I sacrificed for Ali na!??( In pleading tone)

AK-tumlog ne aur kya kya chupaaya hai aaj bata do mujhe.

Neil-(grabbing her waist) exactly jise dekho vo Avni ke piche laga hai.

Aryan- (narrowing his eyes) but mili to tujhe hi na.

Aru- uff! Do u wanna know further...

AK- very good use apni story bata rhi ho lekin meine itne baar pucha to kuch khaas nhi tha na?

Aru- ok to phir har baar chashni ye , chashni ko vo...are I knew about ur silly fights as well. Pehle I was highly jealous and pissed off. He continued his chashni puran everytime and one fine day I had a bad mood already and there after meeting he again started his record, I had enough of his talks on certain chashni and to reward him...

Aryan- she gave me a watermelon!!

Neil-(weird expression!) Watermelon??

Aru-arein... He meant to say that I hit him with the watermelon on his head.

Avni, Karan and Neil started to laugh loudly.

Aryan-hey ! I was just praising her nothing more.

AK- yea!! Exactly praising (laughs loudly)

Aru- but whatever he said na it was true about u and that's the only thing I liked about him. He used to , is still, and would be respecting his chashni and other girls as well. And when he was mad at u for hurting ak unintentionally, I thought to meet u and so one of the reason that I came when Avni wasn't there.

Neil-must say that she even if had many hardships in her life but has the bestest gems with her. Even if I want to die before praising this monkey but yes...thanks buddy.

Aru- now that's enough let's have dinner .

All went and had dinner. Neil had some work and so he and Karan left after dinner while ak was in her room. Once she was alone she removed the report and read them properly. She was now finding it hard to go away again but she had to.

She removed a box full of letters and a fresh notepad and she started to scribble something on the pad.

Flashback:

The garden scene where AK was reading her reports.

The last report was of her lung function test.

The traces of plueral effusion prolonged for a long term resulting in sepsis in the body.

This simply meant that due to some leakage problems in lungs there was a pus formation leading to blood infection which required immediate action to avoid fatal experience.

Avni was already too shattered and every day was taking a laboured breath due to her guilt. Though Neil had been ok with her but she knew that he will go to the roots of this . But now that she had many last experiences she doesn't want to enter in his life again.

She had decided to relocate earlier only and now with Neil knowing and forgiving her this would be harder for her but she has ought to go away.

She was carefully writing things in the notepad.

Probably the wishes that she had planned to accomplish in her lifetime.

She was remembering each and every thing which she had to convey to Neil and everyone but could not. She took down everything on the paper.

It was late night and the rains were in their vigorous form,and so was her inner turmoil. According to her condition she has to avoid water but the pain seemed unbearable and to let that out she sat on the terrace. She was looking at her hands and palms.

Destiny!! what a game player are u?
At a moment the ball is my court but as I m ready to score a complete turnover changes the entire scene.

AK-(herself) Neil I know m really bad and trust me after tomorrow u would actually hate me and never ever would even think of me. Maa please be with him. M gonna come towards u asap.

Whereas for Neil too it was not that easy to forgive Avni specially when he knew that she has something that she didn't shared. He was happy for her that she had such good friends but somewhere he was scared as well. He didn't wanted to look in her eyes. Every time he looked at her eyes ,it would have him the same look when she had left him each and every time. He knew that inspite of her being with everyone there was something that was brewing in her mind.

He knew he had to clear that out and so he left his penthouse and went to the Avni area. It was raining heavily conveying the inner turmoil of his heart and so this too made him shiver. He cared less and just like a theif sneaked inside the house.

He slowly and carefully entered Avni's room. As it was late he thought that Avni might have been sleeping but he was greeted by the empty space. He search for her in the bathroom but to no avail. Finally when he was checking the other rooms , he saw the terrace area open. He went over there and saw Avni sitting on the swing getting drenched. But what hurted him was the same lost look of her eyes. Neil-Avni...ye kya bol rhi ho tum( in high pitch voice) have u lost it. Agar move on hi karna hota to yaha nhi hota mein. Mujhe kabse bachaine ho rhi hai kahi tum phirse kuch galat na kar baitho.

Aaj mujhe tumse ek promise chahiye, promise me ki tum ab kabhi bhi mujhe chodkar nhi jaogi...please avni promise me.

AK- Neil....main....nhi jaungi na!!(removing her hands)

AK-neil pagal ho gye ho kya!? Koi bolta hai kya aise.

AK (having no option) I promise Neil.

They entered the room and Avni stumbled but Neil held her and asked Avni to go quickly in washroom as he would be passing her the clothes and would change inside the room.

Avni quickly entered the washroom and covering her mouth started to cry .
