In the first round of the contesy, contestants are told to explain the concept of their entry (freestyle battle) Let me post my  explanation because this is the important part of this cover. (I just copied and paste it because I'm lazy lol)

This is inspired by one of my favorite songs, MX's Shine Forever. I have read many theories about it and made few of it as my guide. I have mix it with my own theory and belief in this song (most of these theories are mine) Please have a patience in reading this because this will be long. You can see a guy driving a car but when you look closely, you will see an other version of him in the right side of the back window of the car, a wound him and in the left side there is an unrecognizable guy who is also  which is actually the blindfolded guy. This explains why the guy who's driving looks mourning. Guilt is chasing him because he's the reason why the blindfolded guy, which happens to be his best friend has to suffer. He got him into accident. An accident which made his best friend unable to see the light again. In the lyrics of this song, it says "Angel that is radiant, please blind my eyes" Little did he know that he himself is that glowing angel who can see nothing but black. If you were him, there's only two types of emotions that you will feel;  sadness and happiness. Sadness because you will never see the beauty of the world and happiness because you won't be able to see the cruelty in the world. And that kind of happiness has been the usual problem of the society. The pieces of broken glass represents treachery and selfishness. But one remains happy despite of the pain. One remains innocent despite of someone's cruelty because that someone is the one who made him shine. Why? Because he brought him into the darkness. Little did he know that he's the star that will light up the dark sky. How cruel it is to be a star, people will never see you until you'll suffer from darkness. Like this cover, you'll never know its value for the maker unless you'll know the backstory. Stan Monsta X(:
