Okay but what if Levi took in Isabel as a child bc she was starving and alone and it reminded him of himself as a child and he couldn't, in good conscience, leave her there to die and he wanted to help her and teach her how to survive, just like what Kenny did to him. But unlike Kenny, he swore he won't abandon her and he'd never let anything bad happen to her so she would never have to wonder why he just left her behind.
