They were married, it hadn't sunk into Shiva yet, Raavi was his wife now. He smiled goofily as he thought of her, she had been smiling all evening and he couldn't stop himself from staring at her, marvelling in her beauty, she was dressed in a beautiful red lehenga, her jewels sparkling beautifully in the night, illuminated everything around him, she shine so brightly and dazzled him. He tried not to think too much of her beauty, now really wasn't the time, especially when they still had to go through multiple post-wedding rituals, honestly he just wanted to hold his wife in his arms and spend some quality time with her, the idea of that sounded so good, and the way he had started calling her his wife was even better, he couldn't wait to finish with the rituals.

It was past midnight when he was allowed into his room, upstairs, thankfully it was just them on the floor, considering that the room was also newly built, they had all the privacy in the world. His hands shook lightly as he walked to the room, as much time as he wanted to spend with her he wasn't sure of what she wanted that night, he didn't want to overstep and make her feel uncomfortable or unsettled with the expectations he had or the plans he had for her tonight, it wasn't going to be the first time they had fooled around, they had done things, but had never gone all the way. It was way back when they had started dating that they had decided to abstain till marriage, and now that he was married he was confused.

He cursed his friends as he reached the room, damn them for teasing him and putting thoughts into his head, he walked in greeted by the sight of Raavi pacing around the room, irritated. Their canopy bed was covered with white flowers, some small and some big, extremely fragrant, their scent was wafting through the entire room, she walked up to him, pouting angrily. He smiled at how her face scrunched up, she looked adorably child-like, dressed as his bride, a woman of 23, looking like a baby, slight guilt ran through his mind as he thought back to what he wanted to do to her.

He wanted to help her and he did, he tried to control himself, but then again he got lost, like he did often, they fell onto the bed, a tangle of limbs and frenzied hands, heat spread through his being as he loved her the he wanted to, without any inhibitions and without any restrictions.

As they lay there panting, recovering from their coupling, he turned sideways, taking in the sight of her, her body still quivering from the pleasure, she lay there naked and stretched out on the bed like a goddess, her skin gleaming with sweat, and body heaving from exhaustion, crushed white flower petals lay underneath her, spread delicately through her ebony tresses that flowed down to her waist, wisps and strands of her hair tickled her skin and he found himself wanting to trace the path of those curls spread delicately around her, the flower petals lay crushed underneath her and dotted all across her body, laying on her body, making her look like a nymph, his nymph, the white of the flowers gleaming against the porcelain of her body, even in stillness she looked fluid, he marvelled in her beauty once again, as his eyes roved over her body, he took in the sight of her white flawless skin, dotted with petals and bites, bites that he had given her, a sense of perverse pride ran though him, she was all his.

The sight of her laying naked amongst crushed white flowers made him want to worship her and devour her at the same time, the white of the petal making her look other-worldly and pure and the contrast of his bites against the ivory of her skin making him want to do more to her.

Shiva decided he loved white, the colour of it defined his bride, for she was everything pure and eternal, the constant of his life, she was the canvas to his colours, she added beauty to everything, once a bleak colour to him, she made him see the appeal of that very colour, as they lay across her body, he couldn't help himself, pulling her close, kissing her. White had never been brighter. White and been simple, but as his looked at her, he realised white was the medium through which every colour in his life appeared brighter, white was the canvas for the immense amount of love he had for the others, white made them all brighter, she made them all brighter.

I think white is the most wonderful colour of all, because within it one can find every colour of the rainbow.
