This is for all of my Friends who are Shivika Fans and asked me to write more about them. This Drabble was originally written for RiKara during New Years Eve.

It was New Year's Eve and the Oberoi Mansion was beautifully decorated. Gauri and Omkara were preparing some Hot chocolate while Rudy and Bhavya were sitting by Dadi's side looking at Rudra's Childhood pictures. Pinky, who was standing next to Jhanvi saw that her daughter in law was nowhere to be seen and went to her and Shivaay's Bedroom.

There Anika sat on her bed with a sad smile on her face. Pinky knew why.

Because of an important Meeting Shivaay was away over the Holiday's and Anika missed him badly. They had wanted to go together but Anika wasn't feeling well so Shivaay left her in his Mother's care. But ever since Anika felt better she was always looking kind of sad; missing her easily irritated husband.

"Anika Kya Hua? Are you not feeling well? Pinky asked and sat down beside her. She looked at Anika's Hands and saw their wedding picture. With a smile she took the frame out of her Hand and Anika finally looked up. The tears in her eyes were disturbing the Mother in Pinky so she hugged her tight. Finally, Anika let all the tears out she had been bottling up inside the last few days and hugged Pinky as if her live depended on it. She didn't want to start the New Year without her Husband, the one man that gave her the most beautiful year in her life.

"You miss him I know but Shivaay will be back in a few days dear.

"I know Mom, I don't understand why I am so emotional about it. It's just that we were so excited to go together and then I had to get sick..." Anika whined and wiped away the Tears on her face. She must have looked hideous for Pinky took some tissues and gently cleaned the mess her Mascara and Eyeliner had created. She had noticed a few changes in Anika but waited for some alone time to ask her about what was going on in her head.

"Anika? Can I ask you a few questions?.

"Of course."

"Did you miss your period by any chance?
Anika blushed and thought about it. "It is a bit late this time but that happens sometimes.

"One more question.

"Yes?

"Are you experiencing some Nausea apart from your Emotional reactions? Pinky asked and Anika nodded.

"Since when?

"For a few weeks actually. It gets worse around food and certain perfumes. Poor Shivaay had to throw away his favorite cologne because it would make me feel queasy. That is why He didn't want me to accompany him to Japan, he was scared that it would get worse.

A smile spread across Pinky's face when she felt that her suspicion might not be a suspicion at all. She led Anika towards the Bathroom and asked her to wait a second.

Anika did as she was told and minutes later Pinky returned with a pregnancy kit in her Hands. And Realization dawned on Anika. Now she understood her Mother in Laws Questions and her unusual behavior.

"Do the test Anika. I will wait outside.

She took a deep breath and went inside to do the test. After she was done she and Pinky sat down on the Bed and waited. While waiting they heard Anika's phone ring.

It was Shivaay, Anika hurriedly answered and sighed hearing his Voice. She felt at peace at last. Without him she was restless and a simple Hello would make her feel calm and relaxed.

"Are you okay Mrs.SSO?" He asked; sensing that something was happening.

"I am fine, I miss you. Please come back soon." Anika said and already felt tears welling up in her eyes. Pinky looked lovingly at her Daughter in Law and then at the pregnancy test.

She clasped her Hand in front of her Mouth; trying not to scream out of happiness.

Anika didn't even notice she was too occupied listening to her Husband's voice.

"I know. I promise I will be there sooner than you can realize. Just take care of yourself till I come back.

"I will try." Anika closed her eyes a minute and listened to him breathing. It seemed as he was outside because she heard voices and laughter.

Pinky was waiting patiently for her daughter in law to finish the call. She knew if she would say something now she would take away Anika's chance of telling Shivaay the good news face to face. Finally, some Good News would be celebrated in the Family. It has been a while since they dared to hope for such a blessing. Especially from a Man like Shivaay who always had believed that Love was not his priority but his Business. Pinky looked at Anika lovingly and thanked God for giving her Son such a wonderful Wife, a wife that made him believe in love. She was his anchor, his Guide, she was his very soul.

"Anika?

"Yes?

"I have a surprise for you."Shivaay whispered and Anika excitedly squealed.
"What is it?

"Close your Eyes. It will be delivered any second.

Anika did as she was told and closed her eyes. Suddenly she heard a knock on the door and waited. Her eyes where still closed while the Door opened and someone entered the Room with a bouquet of red Roses.

"Shivaay?" Pinky said and ran up to her Son, causing the flowers to fall down. He smiled and hugged his Mother while Anika slowly opened her eyes. There he was standing by the Door, her kanji Ankhen SSO. She looked at the roses and then at him with a soft smile.

"You are back so early? Pinky asked; forgetting the pregnancy test on the bed.

Looking at Anika, Shivaay simply stated: "The New Year should start with me and my Wife together."

Anika ran towards him and pulled him as close to her as she could. Shivaay kissed her Head and his Mother quietly left the Room. She knew they would want to spend some Moments alone , especially so Anika could tell him her good News.

"I missed you! Thank you so much for coming back earlier." Anika whispered and Shivaay lifted her up to place her on the bed when he noticed the test. He stopped and Anika followed his gaze. Blushing she took the test and looked at the result. Pinky was already on her way to the rest of the family to inform them about the happy news. She knew everyone would be ecstatic and would barge in on Shivaay and Anika as soon as the words would leave her mouth.

"Anika?" He asked and she nodded with Tears in her eyes. Shivaay pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her vigorously. Anika kissed him back and then placed his Hand on her Abdomen.

Hearing their Family counting down the last 10 seconds Anika placed a soft kiss on his cheek and whispered: "Happy New Year Daddy.
