In the car

Shivaay was driving the car with anika sitting besides him holding aadhya protectively in her arms while aadhya hide her face in anika's chest as if drawing motherly warmth from her. anika was caressing her hair placing soft kisses on her cheeks,hands, and forehead surprisingly shivaay did not protest seeing a stranger kissing his daughter infact he noticed being a father even he could not handle aadhya the way anika did. He knew his daughter was not a cranky child but once she starts crying it is difficult to pacify her his mind was filled with thoughts when suddenly he saw the signal going red and he stopped the car. Looking at the side he saw anika admiring aadhya with love, longing and certain pain in her eyes. Anika looked at shivaay and saw him staring at her silence was making it more awkward shivaay thought to break the ice

Shiv: waise thanks agar aaj aap nahi hoti toh pata nahi kya ho jata

Shivaay said with his voice getting heavier and his heart beating faster thinking about the consequences

Ani: (looking at aadhya) Mere hote isse kabhi bhi kuch nahi hoga

Shiv: aap bacchon ko bohot acchi tarah se handle karti hai am sure app ek bohot acchi maa hongi aur aapke bacche bohot pyaar karte honge aapse

As she heard shivaay tears pooled in her eyes her breathes got heavier and it was getting for her to handle her self she didnt want to show her emotions in front of a stranger

She held aadhya more close to her self as if gaining some strength from her

But she wasn't able to hide her tears and a drop of tear fell on aadhya's cheek and she blinked her eyes her hand unknowingly went on anika's cheek and wiped the tear

Anika was surprised and she looked at shivaay who was looking at her with same expression anika smiled and kissed aadhya on her little tummy making her giggle a smile crossed shivaay's lips seeing all this

Ani: aap bura na maane toh ek baat kahun koi maa aise kaise kar sakti hai apni bacche ke saath

Anika noticed shivaay's changing expression as she said this shivaay held the steering wheel tightly controlling his anger as he didnt want to show his anger to anika and scare her he closed his eyes gulping the lump formed in his throat seeing his condition anika slowly kept her hand on her shoulders as if her touch had some magic shivaay's nerves calmed down his heartbeat got normal and his mind could feel some unknown peace he opened his eyes and continued driving

Shiv: am sorry voh.....

Ani: its ok i understand

After a drive for 5 more mins the car stopped as anika looked out she was suprised to see an unknown mansion

Ani: yeh hum kaha aaye hai?

Shiv: actually sorry aapne bhi bataya nahi aur mai bhi poocha bhul gaya ki aapko jana kaha hai isilye mai aapko yaha lekar aaya oberoi mansion mera ghar btw am shivaay singh oberoi (forwarding his hand)

Ani: maine aapke baare me suna hai am Dr Anika kapoor (shaking hands)

Shivaay felt as if he had heard this name somewhere but was not able to recollect he shrugged his thoughts

Shiv: chaliye andar chalte hai mai aapko apni family se milwata hu

Ani: nahi actually muje late horaha hai mere patients wait kar rahe honge so next time

Shiv: ok thankyou once aaj jo bhi aapne kia mera driver aapko chod dega

Anika gave aadhya to shivaay with a heavy heart shivaay went inside while anika left for her hospital

In OM

All were sitting in the hall waiting for shivaay as he came inside all pounced on him he gave aadhya to one servant and asked her to make her sleep

Dadi: Dekha maine kaha tha ki voh ladki sahi nahi tere liye par tune meri ek nahi suni agar aaj meri bacchi ko hojata toh tu kaisa baap hai shivaay tuje zara bhi pyaar nahi apni beti bhala ho uss ladki ka jisne humari aadhya ko bacha lia tuje pehle bhi samjhaya tha ki rag....... dadi went silent as she did not want to open his old wounds basss ab bohot hogaya ab tu shaadi karega par meri pasand ki ladki se iske aage muje koi arguments nahi chahiye

Shivaay silently went in his room he wanted to shout cry and remove all his pains he wanted someone's shoulder to cry upon but as he looked around he found himself all alone with his miseries he kept on crying until sleep took over him

Next day

In the morning dadi was in the temple she was getting down the stairs when her legged slipped she was about fall when two hands held her protectively and made her sit on the near by bench

Girl: aunty aap theek tho hai

Yes the girl was non other than anika

Dadi: haa beta thankyou tune muje sambhal lia beta thoda pani pila de

Ani: sure aunty

Anika quickly went and brought water for dadi

Ani: aunty aapki tabiyat theek nahi lag rahi hai mera ghar pass mein hi hai aap mere chaliye aur thoda aaram kar lijiye

Dadi: nahi beta tu pareshan mat ho mai chali jaaungi

Ani: plzz aunty i insists plz chaliye

Dadi smiled at her

Dadi: waise tera naam kya hai?

Ani: Anika plz aunty aap chaliye aur aaram kijiye

Dadi: bada pyaar naam hai theek hai mai chalungi lekin tu bhi muje aunty nahi dadi kahegi samji

Ani: ji dadi chaliye

Anika slowly took dadi towards the car and left for kapoor mansion

In KM (kapoor mansion)

Anika entered inside holding dadi's hand she made dadi sit on the sofa

Ani: dadi aap aaram se baithiye mai aapke liye chai lekar aati hu

Mean while anika's father came down

MK: ani beta kaun aaya hai

Dadi: Rajeev

mk: maaji aap

Mk went and took her blessings and hugged her

Mk: maaji aap yaha kitne saalo ke baad
Kaise hai aap aur tej shakti sab kaise hai

Dadi: sab theek hai yeh tera ghar hai matlab anika teri beti hai

Mk: haa anika meri beti hai

Dadi: badi pyaari bacchi hai

Anika came with tea and they started talking dadi was first reluctant but anika's behaviour her way of talking made dadi sure about her decision
