Here is ur next update as u all already knew that I was busy in my exams n my mom's health was n still is an issue then when I got time n wrote it few days' back n tried to update but all thanks to Wattpad god ji it declined 4 times and 5th time when I retried it got completely deleted. So I'm sorry for delay in the update but still it's not my fault completely. Hope u like it I tried to give it in best way possible after writing it for second time n that too directly no rough idea also so maybe some flaws could be found , do tell me in that case as for now I just can apologise only. Go ahead to know how their truth comes out n what's their reaction towards this.......

The days n weeks that follow the dance were interesting. Shivaay and I hardly spoke to each other. He would bring Gunjan by my house, and we would exchange "hello" n "see u later" but beyond that, we didn't say anything. Our late night talks had stopped, I had stopped fixing him a meal when he got off work at night. He told me it was for the best and I agreed.

It was Wednesday; I start toward the lunch room. Gauri was already there; I had a phone call right after my class that I had to take. I head toward our table as I walk in, I was in a good mood.

"Guess what", I ask Gauri

She looks up from the chair she sets in

Gauri; "What"

Annika: "I got it"

She jumps up with a squeal

Gauri: "U got it"

Annika: "Yup n we look like two crazy people right now."

She looks at the people around her

"I'm not crazy she is" She tells them

I shove her shoulders playfully

"Sit down"

We both settle down

"I can't believe u got it" Gauri says with a smile

What is it???? That's what you r wondering right........

Then lemme tell u, it's a black Pontiac firebird trans am 1979 model with a big gold bird on the hood. I had found one online up for bids 2 months ago, and I just had to have it. I had saved my money and bid on it as soon as I could.

"I know, I will go this afternoon to get it"

"Want me to come with u."

"No, I'll be babysitting" I tell her

"Oh come on Ani it's not like I'm going to take one look at the child u keep and say hey she belongs to so and so."

I laugh

"Alright, I have to ask him first."

"Good, speaking of him, how is that going for u."

"Great we say hey and I'll see u later every night that's it."

"U miss him" she leans up on the table

"He's there every day, how am I supposed to miss him" I ask

"Oh cut the crap Annika, u know what I'm asking. So answer accordingly."

I bite my lips and raising my both hands I said

"Ok I give up, so answer for ur question is that yeah I do miss him in a way."

She shakes her head

"I can't believe u can put up with him after everything he has done to u."

"Gauri he didn't do anything wrong."

"I saw and still could, how it hurts u, to have to pretend not to know him."

"I'm fine. Please don't stress urself...."

"He is no better than Daksh is, if u ask me" Gauri says looking away

"U can't compare him to Daksh, Gauri" I instantly replied to her stopping her to think wrong about MY Shivaay.

"Yeah, he is, sweetie he hurt u, Daksh beat u."

"No Gauri u r taking him wrong, Daksh is a jackass who beat me and tried to rape me. He's nothing like that; he saved me 2 times from that asshole."

Gauri turn to me and suddenly her eyes grow as she looks behind me.

"U r not talking about me, R u."

Hearing the familiar voice I snap my head around looking up at Daksh the worst nightmare of mine.

"What r u doing here" Gauri asked him

He comes forward and takes the seat next to me

"I came to see my girl" he tells her

"U need to leave Daksh" I tell him in low voice trying to sound confident hiding my fear

"I just got here; I'm not going anywhere."

"Leave u asshole" Gauri tells him

"Shut up bitch" he calls her

"Please, Daksh just leave" I tell him "This is my school"

"I know what it is" his hand clamps down on my leg

He squeezes it hard, and I flinch

"Daksh u r hurting me" I tell him as he squeezes my leg harder

"Let her go, u son of a bitch" Gauri says standing up

And I pray no one sees, but I'm out of luck as a fist comes flying hitting Daksh in the jaw. I jump up moving back, as Shivaay knocks him to the ground. I'm pretty sure that someone yelled out fight but I can't be positive. My ears were ringing a little and my eyes on the two guys in front of me.

"I TOLD YOU LAST TIME. TO. KEEP. YOUR. FUCKING. HANDS. OFF. HER." Shivaay yells out holding his neck

Daksh gets up going towards Shivaay again

"What the fuck" someone yells

Daksh grabs my arm pulling me to him as Shivaay is looking away. I gasp out and Shivaay turns back toward us.

"Let her go u son of a bitch." Shivaay says through his teeth

"When u going to learn she isn't urs" Daksh tells him

I look over Shivaay seeing some teachers coming our way; Daksh must have seen them too because he throws me at Shivaay. Shivaay catches me in his arms as I hit his hard chest.

"U want her, take her." Daksh hisses then made a run for it

I look up at Shivaay

"R u alright" he ask me

I was going to shake my head in yes but instead shake it in no. No, I wasn't alright, I haven't had a clue what went on here and right now I'm just in shock I guess.

He nods pulling me closer if that was possible. Tears slip out under my eyelids.

"What the fuck Shiv" I hear Tia ask him

"Just leave it alone Tia." He tells her

I push away from him

"I'm OK" I tell him

"U sure" he asks

"Yeah I'm alright."

"What just happened" Om asked

Neither of them (Shivika) answered as they both were busy in their eyelock with each other.

"Shivaay" Tia yells at him "U got some explaining to do."

"I told u to leave it alone Tia" Shivaay snips at her

"No, I will not! What did u mean u told him to keep his hands off her Shiv."

"Oh my God" Gauri yells out "It was u"

I look at her shaking my head no, please don't do this..... but all in vain

"U asshole" Gauri steps forward "Do u know what u put her through? Do u even care?"

"Gauri please" I beg her to stop "just stop"

"No, u keep his little secrets for him, but he doesn't even care what it does to u. He had hurt u." she spills

"What is she talking about Shiv? What fucking secret.?" Tia ask coming closer to him which was hurting me and I looked the other way ignoring their closeness

His eyes come to mine once again

"What's going on here" the principal asked

Everyone except Shivaay and I, start talking at once.

"Enough" the principal yells out

They all look at her

"My office all of u, right now." She tells us

I look down, Gauri, Tia, and Om start following principal.

"I guess we better go" Shivaay tells me

I look up at him

"I'm sorry" I have tears in my eyes when I say it.

I flinch not knowing the meaning, when he raises his hand up to wipe the tear away.

"U didn't do anything"

I pass a sad smile, controlling my sob.

"We should go" he tells me

We head towards the principal's office; she holds the door open waiting for us. She closes the door as she comes in.

"Alright someone tell me what was going on there" she asked

Again They all start talking at once

"I SAID ONE" she yells out and everyone gets quite "One at a time"

"Mam" Om says "I don't know what happened all I know is we were eating lunch when suddenly Shivaay jumps up and goes all mad on some guy that I don't even think belongs here."

"Does anyone knows who this guy was" Principal asked

They all look at Shivaay and me

"My ex" I tell her

She nods

"What was he doing here" principal questioned

"I don't know"

"And Shivaay u, y u attack him"

"He was hurting her" he tells to her

She nods "And what was it u all were arguing about" Sister Verona (the principal)
[ Actually in my school we used to call our principal like this only as I was in English missionary convent school so I used it here too] she finally asked the important question...

"She is trying to steal my boyfriend" Tia shouts

I roll my eyes

"I'm not trying to steal anything" I tell her

"Why can't u see what he has done" Gauri says

I look at her shaking my head

"Gauri please, that's enough" I tell her

"He is using u Ani" She retaliate

"Alright what's going on here, I guess I'm still present here only" Sister Verona ask

He has forced her to keep his secret."

"What secret" Tia asked

"That he has a little girl, she's been watching and he talked her into having sex with him because he couldn't pay her for one week" Gauri blurts out

I turn away as the last part comes out, I see Gauri covers her mouth.

"I'm sorry" she tells me

I shake my head right now I am mad, mad at Gauri for opening her big mouth, mad at Shivaay for putting me in the middle of this. But most of all I am mad at my own self for not knowing how to protect myself from getting into n now coming out of this situation.

"U slept with her" Tia asked Shivaay

"Y u care, it's not like u r not fucking every guy in this school." Shivaay spits at her

"Language" Sister Verona says "Alright I'm going to call ur parents to take u back in half day as I don't want any more gossips in the school. Do u think u all can stay here without tearing each other heads off."

There were some yes and some nods. She steps out of the room.

"I can't believe u slept with her Tia says to Shivaay

"I can't believe u didn't tell me u slept with her" Om says

"Can we not talk about this?" Shivaay asked

"I'm sorry" Gauri tells me again

I shake my head

"It's ok" I tell her

"R u mad at me"

"I was, but I'm madder at myself. I shouldn't have drag u in this."

She hugs me and I hug her back. I turn to Shivaay when she let me go.

"I'm sorry" I tell him

"Don't" he tells me

"Don't what"

"Don't apologise for something u can't control" Shivaay replied

I nod

"Do I still get to keep Gunjan" I have to ask n I did

"U still going to keep Gunjan" Shivaay tells me with a smile

"Now who the hell is Gunjan" Om asked

"She is my daughter" Shivaay tells him

"I can't believe u have a child" Tia says

"Well I do she is two and a half years old and Annika keeps her for me when I go to work in afternoon." He tells her

"Well I'm still mad at u" Gauri says to Shivaay

"Alright" he says

"Ani has been nothing but a big pile of misery" She tells him

"She's been miserable; he's been so miserable I started to hate hanging with him" Om says

Shivaay looks down at me.

"I'm sorry" he tells me

"Why"

"I never meant or want u to get hurt in all this." Shivaay says with concern in his voice

I can't help my smile

"I enjoyed what it was" I tell him

"Shivaay" I hear Tia calling him

"Shut up Tia" Om tells her

Shivaay steps towards me

"Did u?"

"Yes, do u not miss it" I ask him

"Every fucking day"

I bite my lips

"Alright" Sister Verona says coming in

"I have called ur parents, and got hold of all but Shivaay and Annika's. u all can wait in here for ur rides, Annika, Shivaay we can try ur folks again if u want."

"My dad is at work" I tell her

"My parents are working too." Shivaay tells her

"Alright" She says

"I got my car" I tell her

"Ok"

"I have mine too" Shivaay tells her

"Then u two r free to go, see u in the morning" She tells us

"Thank u" I tell Shivaay as we walk down the hall towards the main exit doors.

"For"

"Being there for me."

"It's kind of pisses me off when I see his hands on u" He speaks gritting his teeth

We walk in silence until we got to my car

"I don't want to be strangers anymore Shivaay" I speaks finally gathering all my courage

He steps into me

"Then let's stop pretending." He speaks in his husky voice coming closer

He leans down, and his lips meld with mine holding me from my waist tightly.

"Let me have ur keys." He says backing away

"What about ur car"

"I rode with a friend today"

I smile digging my keys out; I get in scooting to the passenger side then he gets into the driver's seat.

"Where does this leaves us?" I asked

"Well if we stop pretending I guess we embrace it"

"Embrace what?" I asked being confused in his words

He leans over kissing me again

"What we have." He says his lips still touching mine

I smile

"Right now I want to take u home and make u scream my name" he tells me

I look down

"If that's all u want Shivaay then get out" I tell him

"Sweet cakes please don't talk like that" he raises my chin, so our eyes meet "I know u need more."

"But u r not willing to give it to me."

"That's what I'm trying to tell u, Annika, anything u want. Anything at all, I will give it to u. Just as long as u r here with me."

Again I smile, my arms go around his neck as I pull him down kissing his lips.

"Now can we go" he asks out, lips still close

I look out of the window

"Do u still want me to scream ur name?" I ask looking back up at him

He smiles

"More than anything."

I buckle my seat belt, and he pulls out of the parking lot.

So here we come to the end of this chapter. Hope u like it after this 10 to 12 more chapters remaining to complete this book I hope till then u all can bear me and sorry for the delay once again.

Maybe u won't find this chapter that good as I was feeling low because of my personal stuff hope u can forgive me.
