That night itself, Mohsin went to get a ring for her. He got Shivangi a big square diamond ring, just like she said she wanted.

He went and made the arrangements for his proposal. The next morning, he asked his parents when would be a good time to propose Shivangi according to Islam, and then asked Shivangi's parents when to propose according to the Hindu calendar. After, he decided that he would propose her the next day. Their shoot for their new show was supposed to start in 2 days. Mohsin called RajanSir and told him the case , and he happily agreed to Mohsin's request.

In the living room, he showed the Khan family Shivangi's ring.

Shivangi went to change her clothes. Mohsin couldn't stop smiling as he knew what was about to happen.

Shivi came out of the bathroom in jeans and a top. Mohsin saw this and got nervous.

M - Shivi, tum dress pehno.

S - Kyon?

M - Woh... 3,000 episodes ka celebration ho raha hai..

Shivi changed into a dress and came downstairs.

S - Mumma, mai mohsin ke saath Yeh Rishta ke set pe ja rahi hoon.

YA - Haan beta , Mohsin ne kaha tha.. Aur sun, tu bhagwan ko dekh kar ja.

Shivi wondered why her mom asked her to see Bhagwan for the first time, even though she was just going to set. But she didn't think much of it and happily went to the corner of the house where the mandir was. She set the Diya and prayed to Bhagwan.

Of course, shivi didn't know what was waiting for her later in the day. It would be the best day of her life.
