You sliced through the cold, crisp, night air, Milo by your side. (Appearance in header)

You two giggled, picking at each other, going back and forth. One hitting the other with their tail, or the other gently kicking the other.

All seemed calm, and peaceful as the moonlight shone over your and Milo's fur, your whiskers blowing gently in the breeze.

You two had decided to land on a hill and stargaze, Milo pointing out a few constellations and you struggling to find them.
You two laughed as Milo gently lied his tail over yours, you not moving your own as you continued to stargaze.

A tree was back behind you along with some bushes, and the bushes started to rustle. You became alert as Milo tried to calm you, saying it was just a small animal or the wind, but you insisted that it wasn't, and you should investigate.

You get up, walking over on all fours and sniff around as Milo waited patiently for you, growing anxious to tell you something. More rustling was heard until you spotted two, gleaming blue eyes that popped from the dark green bushes.

The eyes rose from the bush, a gray and blue female dragoness following them. You yelped, not expecting her and you jumped back, as her eyes went black. Blacker than the night sky beholding the stars.
No glimmer had shone on her eyes from the moonlight, as she slunk her way out of the bushes, a wide smile plastered onto her face that held no true joy.

"Well well well... Looks like I'll have a double kill tonight." She spoke, in a horrible, two toned voice that just made the fur on the back of your neck stand up. You tried to scurry back to Milo, but claws dug into your tail as the female lunged out, a black substance dripping from her claws. Your tail started to burn as you roared out in pain, tears welling in your eyes.

"Where do you think you're going?" She spoke again, but this time in her normal voice.
You whimper, trying to free yourself from what seems like an unescapeable grip before you see white and other bright colors rush over you.

The grip let's go and you see Milo on top of the dragoness attempting to bite and claw at her, before she pushed him off with sharp claws, the black substance all along his chest now.

"No! Milo!" You yelp, as you try and run at her, trying to catch the dragoness off guard, but it didn't work.

Claws gripped your throat as you now gasped for air, tears leaking from your eyes.

"P-please..." You gasp. "D-don't kill u-us..." You sputter, trying to claw her arm off of your throat, but the black ink was weakening your wind pipe, along with your breathing. The ink stung in your fur, melting to your skin.

"Aww," Lapis began, the two toned voice returning, "Someone doesn't want to be killed, how sad." She mimmicked your pouting and crying, followed by an insane laugh. "Oh sweetie, if only every one of my victims said that, I may have just spared your sweet precious life." She spoke sarcastically, her eyes dripping with the same ink as her claws.

Milo gasped for air too as the black substance was splattered along his chest. Her claws must have punctured his chest deeply, the ink burning him as well.

"Wh-what do you want f-from u-us...?" You gasp, barley at a whisper. "I... Have... M-money... A-any..." You're barley able to get out, before all goes fuzzy, and you're on the verge of unconsciousness.

You drop to the ground as a flick of a light blue tail waived in your face. Lapis crept towards Milo, a light chuckle coming from her large smile.

You aren't able to make out what they say as you lie there, struggling to stay alive, but you know it isn't good.

"You kil... ose peop... Dn't you?" The dragoness said, her burning ink  seemingly lacing her words. "That's wha-... iko snt... Out hrr... For." She said. "I...what..talk-...about..." Milo gasped.
Those we're all the words you were able to make out as Milo let a roar of pain escape his jaws as he was lifted into the air by the same claws that once suspended you.

"N-no..." You say, barley in a whisper as you watch his body struggle. You hear a faint snap, and he finally goes limp.
"N...NO!" You roar, as loud as your voice would allow you and you attempt to stand back up, resting on all fours.

"Aww, you poor little things don't know when to give up, do you?" Lapis spoke in a sarcastic chuckle. Walking over to you, she kicks you, making you fall into the position you were just in. She holds her claws over your face, allowing the ink to drip onto your cheek, seeping it's way to your skin as it started to burn. You whimper, trying to think of something besides the assassin standing over you, but your mind goes blank.

Soon everything started to go blank.
Sounds got quieter untill you barley heard footsteps walk behind you.

Your limp upper half was raised by your head, and a clean snap made everything stop.

Definitely one of the longest ones yet!
901 words in total! (Minus this)
That's crazy!

Anyway,
Lapis belongs to WysperingWiloughs
And Milo belongs to me.
Wysper also requested this, so I hope you (and everyone else) like it!
