Carefully opening the glass box, I reach my hand inside the container and grab the shiny jewel. The Picaré Jewel. Examining it closely, I slip it into a pocket on my right. Now for my exit plan.

Clangggggg!!!!!!!

Snapping my head to the side, the feet of someone walking over to this room. More importantly, to me.

"Shoot." I let out a curse. Scanning the room, I desperately try to find an escape route. Nothing.

Thinking fast, I silently run over to a long pillar at the side of the room and hide behind it. The guard starts to round the corner.

Shoot, shoot, shoot. The guard is going to notice the missing jewel. Think fast Emara. You need to do something. I think to myself. Glancing around, a plan starts to form. Yes, this could work.

Resting my gaze back onto the guard, I silently walk over to the doors reading 'Exit' in large red letters. I open the door slowly. The guard just entered the room and is now looking cautiously at a jewel.

Slipping inside, I turn and close the door swiftly. Turning around, I found myself in a yellowish lit room with stairs going up and down. Taking the one going down, I run down the stairs, trying to make the least amount of noise possible. Another door labeled 'Exit' came into sight and I run through it without a second thought.

Cold air hits my face, but I'm not done yet. I run towards a closed cafe on my right, and open the door. It's still unlocked. Sighing in relief, I lock the door and walk over to my two black bags of stuff. With the lights off and the illumination from the moon filling the space, I carefully take the jewel out of my pocket and into a small secure space in my bag. Looking back at the museum, I waited until a loud "Weeeeeeeee" can be heard. The intruder signal sounds. I start a 4:50 minute timer on my watch.

The next thirty minutes pass quickly. The police came 4 minutes and 50 seconds later, agreeing to my calculations. They swarmed the museum, trying to find the intruder and what was stolen. They then decided to search the buildings nearby. That had a little more luck. The found, at the cafe I hid out in, a black duffel bag with gear of a thief in it. The police continued to search near the cafe, but found nothing.

I walk over to an empty police car that is parked with the others. A police car I stole a few days ago. I climb into the vehicle, turn the engine on, and take off the silly police hat I'm wearing.

Before long I am leaving, the museum behind me. Opening the black duffel bag in the passenger's seat, I glance over at the stolen jewel. A small smile appeared on my face as I drove off.
