Ik moest voor Engels een samenvatting schrijven over het vierde deel van Harry Potter. Aangezien ik best wel slecht ben in Engels zou ik graag tips willen.

Harry Potter and the goblet of fire is the fourth part of the Harry Potter series. The genre of this book is fantasy, of course. The book is about wizards and a school called Hogwarts.

This year Harry is invited by the Weasleys. Their meeting with the Dursleys is not perfect. Stubborn twins Fred and George poisoned Dudley and now have a huge tongue. Blarg! After the accident, Harry goes to the Quidditch World Cup together with the weasleys and his friend Hermione. That's where the death eaters strike. The dark sign appears for the first time in years. The shy house-elf Winky is suspected of that crime. Bartemius Crouch gives her clothes, that's her punishment. That means she is free. A free elf.

This year, the Triwizard Tournament will be held at Hogwarts. For some unknown reason, Harry's name ends up in the Goblet of Fire, and is the fourth candidate. The first assignment is dangerous right away, dragons. Harry is warned by his great friend Hagrid. To his horror, Harry has to steal the golden egg from the most dangerous dragon, the Hungarian Horntail (personally I think she's really cute but oki).

Harry succeeds, and he obtains his golden egg. The clue for the second assignment is there. Whatever Harry tries, every time he opens the egg there is a terrible sound. Until Cedric comes to meet him. Cedric is the other contestant for Hogwarts. He tips Harry to open the egg underwater. He does this illegally in the bathroom of the class elders, where Moaning Myrtle is watching him. Small detail, but important.

For the second assignment, Harry must save his friend Ron from the mermaids. He can only take Ron. The other hostages are Cho, Hermione and Fleur Delacour's sister. Fleur does not come and Harry decides to bring her sister too. Eventually he manages to save Ron and the little girl, but almost suffocates. With a spell he still succeeds and ends up in joint first place with Cedric.

In the last assignment, Harry is dropped into a large maze. In the center of it is the Triwizard Trophy. When he grabs it, along with Cedric, it turns out to be a viavia. He ends up in the cemetery of Mr. Voldermort's father. Thanks to Harry's blood, he rises again.
