After a five minute flight, Tiberius finally went for a landing. Looking around, Gidget thought it was a small park that she never knew about. Glancing over at the old hawk, the fluffy dog saw that he was heading somewhere. Bounding after him, she matched his pace so they could walk side by side. Her fur bristled slightly as she felt a little creeped out by the place. It didn't make her feel better when she saw how Tiberius seemed so sad.

At last, Gidget noticed that Tiberius had stopped by three smooth stones. Recalling how she saw a whole bunch of them throughout the creepy park, Gidget whispered, "Are we in a cemetery?" Laying down beside the biggest of the three stones, Tiberius nodded his head quietly and added, "This is a pet cemetery."

"Are these three your family?" Gidget asked quietly, gesturing towards the trio of graves. Sighing softly, Tiberius spoke wistfully, "Yeah, my sister and her kids."

"What about your parents?"

"Shot in the wild when my sister and I were a week old."

"Is that why you were afraid of the fireworks?"

"Yeah."

"I'm so sorry to hear about your family."

"It's alright. You live, you die. It's a part of life. We just have to deal with it."

Sitting down beside Tiberius, Gidget gently nuzzled his face, comforting him. Seeing the scar, she asked quietly, "Did this scar have anything to do with-"

"The death of my sister," Tiberius concluded, nodding his head. Closing his eyes briefly, he mumbled, "A feral cat attacked my sister and I in the shed about... nine years ago now. He killed her and her two eggs." Gazing up at Gidget, he whispered, "I was the only survivor." He bowed his head in sadness, tears brimming in his light brown eyes. Sorrow building up inside of her, Gidget gently nuzzled his cheek before giving it a small kiss. Hiding his surprise from that, the old hawk mumbled, "Uh... yeah, I thought you should know that."

"Thank you for telling me," Gidget replied. Getting up, she nudged Tiberius to his his feet as she continued, "Come on, I have an idea that might cheer you up."
