Walking alone in Central Park, Tiberius passed right by a small field mouse. The rodent took one look at the large predator and ran for its life. However, the old hawk didn't chase after it. He had lost his appetite. He was too stuck on his thoughts that he didn't see where he was going until he bumped into someone.

"Hey, watch it pigeon!" Ozone hissed, arching his spine. Padding around the hairless feline, Tiberius mumbled, "Sorry Ozone..." This took the cat by surprise. He had been expecting to be called Hairless or Alien. But no, the hawk had just used his real name. "Yo, you alright dude?" Ozone called out to the bird. Not even looking back, Tiberius replied, "Yeah, I'm fine. I just want to be left alone right now."

Racing ahead of his nemesis, Ozone stopped right in Tiberius's path. "You don't look alright man." The old hawk wouldn't even look the cat in the eye. Sitting down, Ozone murmured, "This is about that meeting three days ago, isn't it." Laying down, Tiberius's eyes brimmed with tears as he whimpered, "I couldn't even muster the courage to tell Gidget."

"Tell Gidget what?"

"I... I love her..."

"Yeah, I can tell."

"What?! Did Norman tell you?!"

"No, everyone assumed you did."

"How-"

"Your tail kinda gave it away whenever she's with you."

"Great..."

"You still have a chance."

"No I don't. She's with the one she truly loves."

All of the sudden, there was a sharp pain in the back of Tiberius's neck. Yelping, he turned around to find a tranquilizer dart. Looking back, he saw that Ozone had been hit as well. The two quickly passed out...
