"Luther!" Dolly howled, rushing over towards the corpse of her boyfriend. Getting up to her paws, Gidget went over to Tiberius, who still didn't move from where he lay. She was only halfway over when Dolly bowled into her. "What makes you think I'm gonna let you walk out of here alive with a happily ever after?!" she barked as she punched the Pomeranian in the mouth. Blood drizzled down from it as Gidget got ready for the next punch Dolly would take. However, the terrier went for her legs, knocking them out from underneath her.

Landing on the floor hard, Gidget couldn't get up in time as Dolly bit down on her scruff, drawing blood, and threw her across the room. Tumbling head over heels, the fluffy white Pomeranian looked up to see Dolly bolting towards her. Revenge glittered in her green eyes as she bunched her muscles together and jumped.

Gritting her teeth, Gidget lifted her hind legs. When Dolly landed on her, she heaved upward with them, flinging the Jack Russell terrier off. Yelping, Dolly fell down towards a dark and ominous hole in the floor of the warehouse. She managed to grip the edge but was struggling to pull herself up.

A feeling of mercy swept over Gidget as she padded over to Dolly. "Here, grab my paw. I'll save you," she spoke softly, offering an outstretched paw towards the terrier. Growling, Dolly lifted one of her paws and whacked it away, giving the Pomeranian a scratch. In the process, her other paw lost its grip. Gidget watched helplessly as Dolly let out a howl of terror before disappearing into the endless darkness. The howl ended with the sound of something tearing, suggesting that Dolly had been impaled.

Breathing heavily, Gidget forced herself to turn away from the hole that had stolen a life.
