They danced until their feet hurt. Sadly, the time had come for them to part ways before their owners returned. They spent five minutes nuzzling each other. "I wish we could stay together a little longer," Tiberius whispered, kissing Gidget's cheek. Blushing, the fluffy white Pomeranian responded, "We'll see each other tomorrow."

"That's so far away though," Tiberius whimpered. Smiling, Gidget reached up and kissed him lovingly. Pulling apart, she declared, "I'll be counting down the minutes until I see you again." She hugged him, listening to his heart beating deep within his chest. Purring, the old hawk spoke softly, "I'll be doing the same thing." Kissing Gidget again, he added on quietly, "I love you beautiful."

"I love you too handsome," Gidget replied, gazing into Tiberius's eyes. Sharing one last kiss together, the pair headed off to their homes. Hopping down the fire escape, Gidget smiled as she thought about all of the events that had led up to this very moment in time. There were good memories, bad memories. Happy, sad, funny, intense. All kinds of them. But they all started on the very day that Gidget had first met Tiberius. It had been destiny that had brought them together.

It was destiny who decided that they would be more than friends.
