Alone in her apartment, Gidget lay on the couch. She didn't feel like doing anything. The TV was turned off. Her toys were in her basket. She definitely wasn't going to be looking out the window anytime soon after the stunt Max pulled off. All the fluffy Pomeranian felt like doing was laying around and doing nothing.

As she lay on her couch curled up into a tight ball, Gidget recalled the events of the day. Her eyes teared up as she sadly remembered seeing Max with the female Jack Russell terrier. Why would he do that? Especially to her? Did he love the other dog more than he loved her? Tears rolled down her cheeks as she thought more of that. Covering her face with her small paws, she wept quietly.

After a few minutes of nonstop crying, Gidget tried to take a small nap. However, that was basically impossible for her at the moment. Saddened, she just lay there, staring off into space. Her thoughts began to bother her again. But this time, it wasn't thoughts of Max. It was about what happened between her and Tiberius in the closet not too long ago.

Gidget couldn't help but recall how soft Tiberius's feathers were. She hadn't said anything but she could feel his heart pounding in his chest. She also remembered how loud her own heart had been beating while she had gazing into his light brown eyes. She could picture them clearly right now...

Shaking herself out of her daydream, Gidget silently growled at herself, "What am I doing?! I'm with Max. Or at least... I was..." Whimpering as she thought of Max and the female terrier, the fluffy white Pomeranian could feel her eyes brimming up with tears again. Forcing herself not to cry, Gidget then remembered the black eye she had given to Tiberius after punching him. Mentally kicking herself for doing that, she went over to the freezer and grabbed an ice pack from within it. Then she left her apartment for the second time that day.
