To believe in the power of your creativity,
Not looking at those who seem better than you.
And without minding what others may think,
You are determined to do what you want to do.

When you're strong-willed, you choose to excel,
Not to waste your time trying to compete.
Instead of being better than the rest,
You be the best you can be.

Achievement becomes your goal,
And so focus and consistency follow suit.
Cutting through the bushes of hard work,
Relaxed when success becomes noticed.

No one said something good comes easy,
Of course, it all takes time.
But the more you sow and believe,
A fruit shall appear along the line.

Speaking of fruits, everyone agrees,
That all that glitters are not gold.
So, permit me to ask this question,
Should it not also be that not all gold glitters?

And so it may seem you're not going far,
Or there's no progress in the efforts you're making.
But when you turn back to retrace,
You'll certainly notice how far you've gone.
