"Stop tapping your feet Taehyung!" Yoongi grumbled.

Taehyung immediately stops. He didn't know that unconsciously he was tapping his feet on the ground, "Sorry hyung!"

"I know tomorrow is a big mission, but you were never this nervous before?" Yoongi raised his eyebrows.

"I know! But it's nothing hyung." Taehyung faked a smile.

"Yeah...right, I believe that!" Yoongi rolled his eyes, "I know it's about that girl Aera."

Taehyung closed his eyes as he lowered his head.

"Look Taehyung, I know you loved that girl, but it is time for you to move on." Yoongi didn't show it but he was always concerned when it comes to his brothers and he always tries to give the best advice that would help them.

"No hyung, it's not about Aera." Taehyung softly muttered.

"It is about her, and you cannot change my mind. I know that I never loved a woman so, it is not my place to give you suggestions but trust me Taehyung I want the best for you." Yoongi placed a hand on the younger's shoulders.

Taehyung raised his head to look at him, "I know hyung, and I am always thankful for that." He gave the older a small smile.

"Do what your heart wants." Yoongi softly smiles at him.

Taehyung looked at him for a moment but then slowly a small but real smile adorned his face, "Thank you hyung."

Aera was just minding her own business when suddenly the door burst open and enters Kim Taehyung in all his glory. And like every time, he took her breath away.

"Taehyung..." She stands up as Taehyung walks closer to stand in front of her.

"Can I kiss you?" He said with a straight face.

"What?" Aera furrowed her eyebrows, did she hear it correctly?

"Can I..." He steps closer to her, so close that Aera can feel his heavy breathe, "Kiss you?"

Aera looked him in the eyes, she cannot seems to grab his emotions but the way his eyes were glistening was enough to make her heart beats like crazy. Her eyes then travel to his lips and all she wants is to feel them.

"I Tae-"

"I am waiting Aera." He grabs her waist softly.

"Yes..." She puts both of her hands on his firm chest.

And this was enough for Taehyung to land his lips on hers.

Euphoric.

That's what Aera was experiencing. Both of their lips were mended like pieces of a puzzle. She fears that Taehyung could hear her heart beating like crazy but at this moment she wants to forget everything and just savor this moment.

Taehyung was the first one to separate. He puts his forehead on hers as both of them were breathing heavily.

"I am sorry...I shouldn't have done this." He quickly detached himself from her as Aera looked at him with a hurt look.

"But I don't regret it Tae." She holds his hand, interlacing their fingers.

Taehyung looked at her with such emotions that Aera couldn't decipher.

"What you and Namjoon hyung talked about?" After much silence, Taehyung speaks.

Aera intakes a sharp breath as she remembers her conversation with Namjoon, "It's just something related to my past. Don't worry!" She showed him her fake smile which is one of the things she has mastered in years.

"I know everything about your past." Taehyung told her as he softly detaches his hand from her hold.

Aera opens her mouth to retort his statement but then stops. Of course, if Namjoon knew about it then does everyone else.

"It's okay if you don't wanna tell-"

"No!" She stops Taehyung. Aera does not want him to feel that way, "Namjoon told me that Izon was behind the demolishment of my orphanage home."

"So they were the ones who murdered Jiwoo."

Aera bits her lips and nodded slowly.

"You will going to be part of tomorrow's mission?" Taehyung questions.

Aera nodded remembering her oath to kill all the murderers of Jiwoo.

"Aish!" Taehyung softly muttered but Aera was quick enough to catch it.

"You don't want me to include in the mission?" She furrowed her eyebrows not liking the fact that Taehyung doesn't want her to take part in the plan.

"Yes, I do not want you to come with us tomorrow." Taehyung said with a straight face as he stands up facing her.

"And why do you think that?" Aera raised her eyebrows.

Taehyung heaved a sigh as he rubs his temple, "Look Aera! It's not safe for you to go there-"

"I have been doing this all my life Tae. My whole life is full of risks and you are expecting me not to kill the people who made my life this way!!" Aera slightly raised her voice. This topic is sensitive for her and she easily lets her emotions govern her.

"You said once that you want me to forgive you."

Aera controls her uneven breathing, she knows where this conversation is heading to.

"I will forgive you in only one condition that is you should not accompany us tomorrow."

"Why Taehyung? You know how much this is important for me. I want to get my revenge so why are you stopping me from going...."

Aera was feeling helpless and she doesn't like this. Why did he kiss her? Was he also playing with her as she did?

"You know Taehyung that I am capable of going to the mission so why are you stopping me?"

"Some things are better left unsaid."

Aera looks at his face trying her best to understand him. Love can indeed make you do the things which you never thought to do because Aera was now reconsidering whether to go on the mission or not. But before she could think more, Aera closes her eyes emptying all the unnecessary thoughts. No, you have to take your revenge.

"Just remember Aera, if you decided to go tomorrow then the broken strings of our relationship can never be mended again."

There are certain points in your life where you have to make choices that could heavily affect your life and Kwan Aera was exactly at that point. She knows that the thing she is going to do will give her relaxation from the past but it will also break possibilities of her future with Taehyung.

Aera for the last time searches for some warmth in his eyes but to her dismay, she could find none.

"I feel like that I never knew you Taehyung."
