"Hey." Shouto said as he entered the living room.

"Hey." Ochaco replied, smiling brightly.

Shouto held his arms out, and made grabby hands. "Come."

"Funny," Ochaco snickered, walking over. "That's exactly what you told me last night."

Shouto gave her a deadpan look, though it was obvious he was trying very hard not to laugh. When the brunette came close enough, he wrapped his arms around her waist, and she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"Hi." She smiled again, brushing her nose against Shouto's.

"Salutations." Shouto hummed, then smiled and kissed the corner of her mouth. "Guess what."

Ochaco giggled at that. "What?"

"It's a secret," Shouto whispered, leaning in to whisper into her ear. "You ready?.. Okay. I.. am in love with you." Before she could respond, he then moved to her cheek and blew an obnoxious raspberry against her skin.

"Hey!" She laughed, leaning away. "Really?"

"Mhm~" Shouto smiled happily, now just nuzzling her cheek. He absently noted that their cat showed affection this way too. "Had to. Was necessary to show my love."

"By getting your saliva me?"

"Hey, you don't seem to mind that too much when I-"

Ochaco slapped her hand over his mouth, mock scowling. "Shut up."

Shouto just grinned against her hand.

He loved this woman.

When the time was right, he fully intended to marry this woman.
