We begin to walk into town, my mind fluttering with thoughts of my partner. Why can't I just say how I feel? Wait, crap... I can't talk. Dang it, I'm such an idiot. She probably just thinks the same anyway... "Hey, Shove? You doing okay?" She looks down to me, towering over me easily. I simply nod to her, unable to do anything else. Sometimes not being able to talk is such a hindrance... "What is that, Shove?!" I suddenly hear a crash, a door opening madly that seems to lead to a place called inn. Strange name for a home, haha. But no matter, this man looks awful familiar. "SHOVEL KNIGHT!" Oh crap... Its Black Knight again. But I'm not alone this time, so I should be more careful to protect her. He charges at me, and I draw my blade! But he clashes his blade with my chest-plate before I can block! "Shovel Knight!" Shield Knight screams, bashing her shield against the black knight. "Blasted gal! Out of my way!" He points his blade to her, and my partner begins to laugh! "Hahahahaha! My, my, Black Knight. You have quite a squeaky voice!" She begins to pleasantly giggle more, and it angers Black Knight more! He goes to charge into her, but I chop my Shovel into his helm, denting it slightly and knocking him back, staggering. "Cursed oafs. Fight me fair, Shovel Knight. 1 to 1, thy knight! Draw! Your! Shovel!" He spins his blade, charging into me at double the speed as his last! But before he can hit, I jump high above him, flipping before landing in the road. The people once around us have seemed to run into their homes, and Shield Knight, my lovely has seemed to move to a wall. She nods to me, and I nod back before running at Black Knight! He prepares a guard quickly, but I jump into the air, locking my feet onto the bottom of my Shovel! I hoist my strength into the hilt, falling to my target! "What?!" Black Knight says, looking up to see my blade shading over him as I stab into his shoulder-plate, and he screams like a girl as my blade bounces back into the air. I land onto the road, turning around to see that he has dropped his black Shovel Blade. "Good shot, Shovel Knight." Shield Knight spoke to me, smiling. I nod to her, putting my blade to guard as he changed arms, grabbing his blade again. "We. Are. Not. Done, Shovel Knight!" He begins to charge at me again, a purple aura coming from him as he bullets into me! "No!" I get hit hard, my body being slammed against the wooden wall of the building behind me. It breaks and I fall in, the pain sharpening as I see the homes inhabitance yelling and fleeing their home. "Bow before me, Shovel Knight!" He puts his blade to my neck, and a fear follows the sharpened pain. I shiver, but then suddenly there was only silence. A red glove touches the shoulder of Black Knight. "Thats enough." "What?!" I see Black Knight turn around, but suddenly the very same red glove slams into Black Knights helmet in a fist! He falls over, knocked out cold. Suddenly all I see is Shield Knight standing tall... The light of the snowy sky behind her. It was beautiful... Her palm suddenly lowers to me as she smiles, and I reach out my hand to hers. She pulls me up as I smile, and now of all times now I wish I could thank her... For everything. "You alright, Shove?" I nod happily, an awkward pause staying because I don't want to let go of her hand... I eventually do, and an even longer pause shows. I wish I could say sorry, but I like her more than she knows...
