KOLKATA... MAHESHWARI HOUSE...

The Maheshwari family returned back to their home and this time the family wasn't incomplete. Their daughters in law were finally here! Happiness in the Maheshwari House was back! Their children were finally happy and were together. That's what everybody wanted -- Happiness!

Swara, Sanskar, Laksh, Ragini entered the house mingling with each other and smiling over some newly cracked joke among their group. Annapurna and Sujata were ecstatic seeing their family. Their faces had content and relief as everything in their lives was back to normal. The family which had almost ripped apart were finally joined together. Everything in their lives was back to normal.

No evil eyes, no bad things... Nothing.

Only happiness, love, and peace!

The last thing they wished for was everybody's happiness.

All the chains of thoughts were broken as soon as Durgaprasad turned his head towards everybody. "Annapurna... Khushi ka mauka hai. Would you mind making everybody some dessert?"

And that's when the four-people crew and everybody else came out of their dreams.

"Ji... That's a really good idea! Abhi bana deti hoon." Annapurna smiled and exchanged a smile with Sujata, who nodded her head. "Ha Jijji! Milke bana lenge!" She turned towards her daughters in law. "Na chalo abhi. Swara... Ragini... Come and help us!"

Swara and Ragini smiled in happiness and nodded their heads. "Ji Badi Maa!"

"Afterall itne time baad sab sahi hua hai hamare family mein." Swara said with extreme delight.

"Aise mein meetha khana toh banta hai na!" Ragini agreed with Swara.

"Definitely! So, come on. Let us prepare some desserts for all these men in this house." Sujata rushed and made her way towards the kitchen with Annapurna.

Sanskar and Laksh winked naughtily at each other before they exchanged looks and cleared their throats.

"Ahm ahm woh Mom... if you don't mind, will you make strawberry custard for us?" Sanskar called after Sujata who turned towards him.

"Strawberry custard?" Sujata asked. "Tsk! Sanskar. Kad se toh bada hua hai par bachpana na gaya je chhore ka abhi tak."

Sanskar chuckled seeing his mother's expressions. "What Mom! Purani pasand kaun bhulta hai bhala!" He exchanged funny looks with Laksh. "Strawberry custard is like our drug since childhood. Lucky... tu bol na Mom ko." Sanskar persuaded Laksh and he too played along.

"Ha Chachi, Maa. Please make it na. Bhai and I missed eating it together so much."

Annapurna chuckled. "Now stop making that face, Laksh."

Laksh pouted even more and Annapurna smiled.

"Okay, fine." Annapurna sighed with constructive agreement. "Strawberry custard hi banega aaj."

"And that's why we love you guys so much!" Laksh did a silent happy dance making others laugh.

Ragini shaked her head staring at her husband with absolute disbelief. Ultimately, she smiled and then turned towards Annapurna. "Maa, Swara and I will make it."

"Yes, chal Ragini!" Swara chirped and Sanskar stared at her.

And with that, the sisters went from there hand-in-hand and the rest of the family members decided to sprawl on the sofas to have some family time together.

But Swara immediately stopped on her own track as she felt her wrist gripped...

And in no time, she realised who held her.

Sanskar had a smirk on his face as he had his grip maintained, despite Swara's many attempts to free herself. He could already note the red blush on her cheeks. Swara turned towards him.

"Sanskar! Kya kar rahe ho?" Swara mumbled, unable to resist that smile on her face, while Sanskar just rolled his eyes playfully and whispered.

"After all this, come to our room, Mrs Swara Maheshwari. Kuch baat karni hai tumse!"

"Sanskar! Sab dekh rahe hai. Leave me."

"Okay. First tell me after all this, you will come to our room."

"That's where I'll ultimately come na! Now leave me, Sanskar, please, it's awkward." Swara tried so hard to beat those blushes on her cheeks but tremendously failed.

"Okay. I am waiting for you." Sanskar smiled genuinely and let go of her.

Swara smiled freeing her hand from him. "I'll come."

Giving the warmest smile to Sanskar, Swara sprinted off to the direction of the Kitchen, whereas Sanskar stared at her, just smiling.

After a few hours, the Maheshwaris were finally in the dining room, munching over the strawberry custard which was demanded by Sanskar and Laksh and everybody were having a great time.

Swara gave Sanskar a death glare as he forwarded a spoon of custard in front of her mouth for her but when she was about to eat it, he ate it himself and chuckled enjoying those expressions on his wife's face. Gosh! She still had the same chirpiness!

She was his Swara, no wonder!

"Sanskar!" Sujata shot him a look.

"Mom.." Sanskar pulled on a face.

Uttara who was silent all this while enjoying the scene in front of her opened up.

"Haan haan Bhai. Everyone saw what you did! Bohot desperate ho aap bhabhi ke saath rehne ke liye!"

And that made Swara choke on her own saliva, whereas Sanskar was still in his usual mood and he seemed to be enjoying her reactions too much.

"Shut up Uttara." Sanskar shot her a bored look. "Jab dekho tab kabab mein haddi banti hai."

"Ouch! What?" Sanskar immediately winced as soon as Swara punched him angrily. Everyone left out a chuckle.

"Okay baba. I am sorry." Sanskar mumbled to Swara. He scooped up a spoonful of custard and forwarded it towards Swara who beamed at him as if she just won a lottery. "Yeh lo. Khao."

Swara smiled winningly as Sanskar fed her. The family were so happy to be the witnesses of the things that had finally recovered.

Durgaprasad cleared his throat smiling.

"Now, since all playfulness gone, I need help now. Sanskar, Laksh, I want you both in the study room after some time. Actually we have to discuss about the cracking of deal with Mr Khanna. It's going to be hectic. So this discussion might take hours. Baad mein aa jaana." He gave a smile to both of them and they nodded their heads.

"Ji Bade Papa."

"Ha Papa."

After a few moments, everybody finished eating their custard and after a few minutes, everybody except for Sanskar, Laksh, Durgaprasad and Ramprasad were in the Living room, doing some here and there chores. Swara and Ragini, as usual, were seen watering the plants outside the Mansion together and chatting about how everything in their lives was back to normal. How they were back here as daughters in law and how Sanskar and Laksh had accepted them that day by applying the pious vermillion on their hairlines.

Meanwhile, Annapurna and Sujata were busy with some works in the Kitchen and Uttara helping both of them, finally satisfied with the unity of their family...

But still...

No matter how happy they were today, something was still missing. Probably there was somebody who was missing in their family.

How good it would had been if they had 'him' today with them! But Annapurna knew it wasn't going to happen anymore. Their elder son had distanced himself from them, there was no way some relations were ever going to get mended.

No way ...

But maybe? What's wrong to have a slight hope?

"Sanskar! Tum! What are you... doing?!"

Swara almost flinched with shock and surprise as she herself didn't know what was going on around her. Now all she was seeing was... herself in Sanskar's arms! And that desperate smirk playing on his face was making her feel butterflies in her stomach.

God, this guy always affected her.

The last thing she remembered was she had come to their room to attend her call which had been ringing for a long time, and it had already been disconnected by the caller.

"W-What are you doing?"

Sanskar smirked as he gripped her even more towards herself.

"Apni biwi ko dekh raha hoon."

Swara jerked him away playfully. "Tumhari biwi busy hai iss wakt, Mr Maheshwari!"

"Arey! You're so mean Swara!" Sanskar showed fake anger making Swara raise her eyebrow at him. "Since today morning, you're pretending as if I don't even exist in this world. Ghar ke sewe mein kuch jyada hi lagi ho tum. Itna jyada, ki you even forgot that you have a husband! So mean Swara."

Swara slapped his shoulder and hissed. "Sanskar!" She blushed a bit. "Shut up. And yes, Mom and Badi Maa needed help that is why I was busy na."

Sanskar folded his arms. "Yeh toh roz ka hi hai."

"Sanskar!"

"Okay okay!" Sanskar smiled and in no time he came back to his playfulness. "First, give me a kiss on my cheek and I will let you go."

"Sanskar tum na... pure pagal ho!"

"Say something I don't know, Mrs Maheshwari!"

"Ugh! You are unbelievable."

Even her shy smile laced her tone so much and our Sanskar seemed like enjoying it so much!

"First kiss." Sanskar was determined.

Swara rolled her eyes yet she couldn't stop blushing. "Let me go!"

"Kiss."

"No."

"Please."

"NO!" Swara suddenly pretended as if she just heard a voice and Sanskar frowned. "Ah... aayi Badi Maa!"

She controlled her giggles and immediately got free from Sanskar's clutches and ran out of the room before Sanskar could catch her... Sanskar frowned to himself.

"Afterall, family and mother in law come first for this madam! Not her husband." He muttered with a tinge of disappointment and playfulness.

But before he could even move he felt a tight lingering sensation on his right cheek and his eyes shot wide in surprise... and as he turned his head he finally spotted Swara who was looking at him with an almost tomato face.

Swara smiled at him once before she winked at him. "I'll see you afterwards, Mr Maheshwari!"

And she turned on her heels and ran away from there at the same speed... Sanskar stood there smiling...

No wonder, Swara's every shade bedazzled him and he couldn't help the ecstatic small curve on his lips.

~*~*~*~*~*~*

"Maa.. Papa..!!!"

The stern voice boomed and echoed across the wide living room of the Maheshwari house and as every member around took in the voice, everything came into a halt. Everything.

Annapurna and Sujata who had been working in the kitchen immediately stopped as their ears registered the very much familiar words and everything for them came into a standstill...

Sanskar, Laksh, Durgaprasad and Ramprasad who were discussing about the deal were also taken aback by the very much familiar voice. Swara and Ragini were also shocked and confused.

And as moments passed, each and every member of the house assembled at the living room only to see the biggest shock awaiting each of them...

All the men stood up and looked at the front door, only to see the most unexpected thing in front of their eyes.

"Adarsh!!!"

Durgaprasad uttered in his weakest tone yet there was shock and a tinge of anger.

It was indeed Adarsh. The man who had once destroyed everything. Their family, their relations... And behind him was one more person who had committed equal level of mistakes...

"Bhabhi!"

The Maheshwaris were hell shocked... this would be an understatement. They still couldn't believe their eyes. It were indeed Adarsh and Parineeta. Each and every person flashed back their minds...

The day when Adarsh and Parineeta took over the property... The day they threw their family out... their own family out! Those days when they used to mistreat their own parents... The reason their family ripped apart!

Each and every day was crystal clear for them and those fragments of those terrible memories sent waves of terror into everybody...

With the sudden blow, Annapurna stumbled back on seeing her long gone son and winced audibly as if ground beneath her had shaken.

Today only, she was thinking about him... and then finally when he had him in front of her eyes, she could feel herself going weak. Somehow, couldn't the past get reverted? A mother's heart yearned for her son no matter what he had done to them, she was still his mother and he was his son.

Sujata immediately held her but her eyes couldn't move from the unbelievable sight at their doorstep.

"Adarsh bhaiyya?" Sanskar whispered in shock.

"Ugh... Maa, Papa.."

Adarsh almost lifted up his foot to step in but something inside him made him to stop at his own place. Perhaps it's the guilt that stopped him.

And this time, there was something unusual going on around and everyone finally noticed the difference.

This Adarsh was quite different from the one they had known six months before.

There was guilt etched over his face. And even Parineeta's.

Adarsh nervously looked down as he had no guts to raise his head up towards his own family. He was lacking words to voice out because even that wouldn't make him stop feeling wrong for committing all those wrong deeds.

Yes, he was guilty. Very guilty. And his guilt was evident on his face. He finally realised what he had done and he regretted all those.

Durgaprasad looked firmly at the son whom he used to cherish so much once. Once he was the pride of his family. There was a possibility that Adarsh was guilty for his deeds. It was crystal clear in his expressions.

Sanskar and Swara exchanged confused looks as Adarsh cleared his throat.

He had to say it to sort out things.

"Papa... can we come in?"

Annapurna found it too hard to breath. The emotions of a mother started playing with her mind and her heart had won. She took a step ahead as she acknowledged her son and daughter in law both.

"Come, Adarsh. It's still your home."

The rest of the people seemed to be witnessing the most unusual sight and Adarsh and Parineeta together made their way downstairs very slowly as they feared someone might even stop them from coming down all of a sudden because of the deeds he had committed months back. He knew he did not deserve anybody's love and trust after what he had done to them.

But maybe... maybe... his family could give him a chance! Maybe!

The slightest ray of hope sent waves of hopes into both of them as Adarsh and Parineeta stood in front of Durgaprasad, guilt etched over their faces. Both of them raised and joined their hands in front of them as if... this little way of apologising might set things right.

Durgaprasad had no expressions on his face. Maybe because he did not trust him. Or maybe because guilt over his son's face was forcing him to think once again.

The rest of the family members looked stunned.

Adarsh looked down nervously and began murmuring...

"Papa, Maafi ke layak nahi hoon, I know it very well. I know this word 'sorry' would be nothing in front of what I did to you all. Papa... mai... mai bhatak gaya tha. Parineeta and I were blank. We weren't thinking straight. I admit we were blind over the property and money but we have realised how wrong we were back then! We have realised our mistake! I won't say mistake... It was a crime. Torturing my own family is a crime. And I know I deserve an even bigger punishment for all those things I did to you all. Uske liye aap sab or bhagwan mujhe jo saza denge mujhe manzur hoga. Anything!"

Parineeta nodded her head, agreeing with each and every word spoken by Adarsh. "Hum ne bhi bohot galtiya ki hai. Paap kiye hai. Iss pariwar ko dukh toh sabse jyada hum hi ne diye hai. I know asking for forgiveness won't change anything because we both have committed crimes. In those six months I have finally realised what sins I had done. Hum toh maafi ke bhi layak nahi hai lekin fir bhi..."

Adarsh took in a deep breath as Durgaprasad's eyes shot at both of them. They were giving no expressions. Annapurna was closer to a breakdown. All she could do was go and get her long gone son back but something inside her was making her control herself.

"Adarsh..."

His heart skipped a beat as he sensed his father looking at him...

This took Durgaprasad a high level of courage and heart to say it because he was speaking his heart right now.

"I know Adarsh ki tumhe apne galtiyo ka ehsaas hai but... gum iss baat ka tha ki tumhare liye paison ka mol itna ho gaya that you mistreated your own family."

"Papa. Jaanta hoon aapke maafi ke layak nahi hoon but for once... just for once..." Adarsh finally looked at his father and pleaded. "Can Parineeta and I get a chance to mend our ways? Can we get a chance to mix with our family once again? I promise. I won't do this again. I swear on my life. I won't hurt my family anymore." Adarsh joined his hands infront of everyone. "I am sorry. I know sorry is just a mere word but even then..."

Annapurna sniffed looking down as Sujata consoled her, she was herself in shock. Annapurna wiped her unshed tears and stood in front of Durgaprasad.

"Ji... please forgive him. Usse apne kiye ka ehsaas hai. I can see his guilt. Please forgive him."

Durgaprasad did not say anything for some time as he was in a deep thought. Parineeta and Adarsh looked at him with a hope.

After a long chain of thoughts, Durgaprasad turned his head towards both of them and surprising everybody, he raised his hands and put Adarsh and Parineeta's joined hands down, stunning both of them. That means were they forgiven?

"Papa?" Adarsh muttered in shock and disbelief. And for the first time in a while, Durgaprasad gave a slight smile to his son, which instantly lifted Adarsh's heart.

"I know Adarsh you are guilty. Though I know that forgiving you won't be easier for me but accepting you won't be harder either." He continued. "Adarsh, I am proud of you. You have finally realised your mistakes and guilt is very much evident on your face."

Durgaprasad eyed at Parineeta in assurance.

"Adarsh, I'll give you a chance considering that you will mend your ways."

And the decision was finally made.

"Really Papa? Are you sure we deserve it?" Really? Did they really deserve their forgiveness?

Durgaprasad smiled patting his son's shoulder. "Yes, you do. Because the one who apologises with all his heart and soul always deserves forgiveness and acceptance."

Adarsh smiled emotionally and so did Parineeta. Everyone else had slight curves on their lips.

"I am sorry. I am sorry Papa." Adarsh joined his hands and turned towards Annapurna emotionally. "Maa, apne bete ko maaf kar dogi na?"

Annapurna was gleaming with emotions and before Adarsh could even say anything, she immediately pulled her son into a warm hug which made everyone emotional out there. Everyone knew that a person deserved a chance to rectify himself and so did Adarsh, no matter how many sins he had committed but today the reality was he was guilty for all those and it was as clear as a crystal.

Swara and Ragini smiled looking at each other.

Adarsh broke his hug with his mother. He turned his head towards somebody and made his way through everyone, looking at each and every face whom he called his family and yet, he was the one who hurted his family.

He went and stood in front of Sanskar, bowing down his head as he knew that Sanskar was the one whom he hurted the most after his parents. Turning everyone against Sanskar was the worst mistake he had ever committed. He hurted his own brother and had caused so much pain to the same person who had been with him through everything.

"Sanskar!"

Sanskar was overwhelmed hearing his older brother calling him out, he would rather give warmth to those joined hands of Adarsh but he felt his shocked demeanor pulling him back.

Adarsh cleared his throat and looked into his eyes. "Sanskar mere bhai. Maa or Papa ke baad sabse jyada bura toh tere saath kiya tha maine." Sanskar tried nodding his head into a no but couldn't as Adarsh intervened. "No Sanskar! I hurted my younger brother. Sabse bada beta toh mai hoon iss ghar ka... I should be the one being with my family through thick and thin and what I did. Being the eldest one, I had some responsibilities towards this family but I wasn't the one who fulfilled them. You fulfilled those responsibilities Sanskar. You took the initiative and were always there with everyone when I was supposed to be and I wasn't. You kept this family together when I had destroyed it six months back. Ho sake toh... Maaf karde mujhe. Meri wajah se tujhe kitna kuch sehna pada. I'm..." Adarsh closed his eyes and regretted each and everything he did with his brother.

"Adarsh Bhaiyya please!" Sanskar said in a comforting tone. "Don't say sorry. It's okay. You have realised your mistakes which is more than enough! Bhaiyya bohot kum log hote hai duniya mein jinhe apne galtiyo ka ehsaas hota hai. We all are happy that you want a chance to mend yourself. And I have forgiven you long back for all that."

"So... you forgave me? I don't even know that even I deserve this forgiveness."

Sanskar smiled nodding his head and pulled Adarsh into a brotherly hug. Adarsh hugged his younger brother back. Sanskar patted his shoulders after breaking the hug and as Adarsh went towards Laksh to seek his apology, he had done so much wrong with Laksh as well. Parineeta went and stood in front of Swara and Ragini joining her hands.

"Swara. Ragini. Hum tum dono ke gunhegaar hai. Swara, especially you. I tried ruining your image in front of the family at that time using Rajat. I was the one because of whom you and Sanskar had to go through so much at that time. And Ragini... Tumhe toh har wakt blackmail karte rahe, pareshan karte rahe. I know I don't deserve your forgiveness but..."

She almost bent down on Swara and Ragini's feet but both of them immediately stopped her from doing so.

"Bhabhi! Please." Ragini insisted.

"Bhabhi aisa mat kijiye." Swara held an overwhelmed Parineeta and smiled slightly. "I know aap man se buri nahi hai. I know aap bas bhatak gayi thi and we understand why. Or rahi baat purani baaton ki toh we have already forgiven you both."

"Ha Bhabhi. And don't be guilty." Ragini said with assurance.

Parineeta smiled and she hugged Swara and Ragini respectively.

Adarsh had done apologising to almost everybody and he felt so relieved. Something inside him became so light. And same cases with Durgaprasad and Annapurna and the rest.

Everybody felt as if this family was finally complete! Finally!

"Thank you so much." Adarsh thanked everyone, still overwhelmed.

"Bhaiyya thanks mat kahiye." Laksh smiled with assurance. "Afterall you're a part of this family only.:

Adarsh and Parineeta smiled and Durgaprasad smiled hugging his son. Sanskar and Swara exchanged ecstatic looks.

They couldn't be happier...

Everything was like before now!

Adarsh had some time mixing up with his family... Durgaprasad, Annapurna, Ramprasad, Sujata, Uttara and Sanskar and Swara looked at their happy family together feeling the happiest at the moment...

There was nothing better in this world than having a perfect and happy family who were together at all times!

This was what they wanted! A happy family!

And it finally happened.

~*~*~*~*~*~*

It was almost night and everyone were in their respective rooms after they had dinner together. It had been a long time ever since the family were having dinner together!

Swara flung the door of the washroom open after taking a night shower and she made her way in front of the mirror and wiping her hairs. Sanskar was working on his laptop and as his eyes travelled towards Swara, a curve made it's way to his lips.

Swara was in her light blue nightsuit, her hairs all wet, a tinge of red blush already on her cheeks as she sensed Sanskar's gaze on her and she looked at him through the mirror.

She had finished wiping her hairs and she turned around towards him. By then, Sanskar's work was over and he had already shut down his laptop and kept it aside.

Sanskar got up steadily from his bed, his heated gaze still fixed on Swara... Swara smiled looking at him and Sanskar came to her and engulfed her into a very close side hug, which Swara returned wholeheartedly...

Sanskar closed his eyes as he felt her warmth against his soul. "I am so happy... Tum yaha mere pass ho. I couldn't have been happier."

Swara smiled wholeheartedly. "Even I."

They broke the hug and Swara looked at him happily. "I am so happy Sanskar. Itne time baad ghar ki khushiyan lauti hai. I couldn't have asked for more."

"Yes Swara. You are right. Happiness is back in our lives."

Swara nodded her head and after thinking something for a while, she spoke her heart out. "Sanskar... Dekho na. Bhaiyya or Bhabhi ko bhi Bade Papa ne maaf kar diya. And I feel, they do deserve a chance. A person deserves a chance to rectify his mistakes. Honestly, if Ragini can get a chance to mend her way, Laksh can get a chance to mend his way, then why not bhaiyya and bhabhi? That's why I forgave them with all my heart."

Sanskar kept his hand on Swara's shoulder. "Yes Swara. I have seen it. I had seen bhabhi's guilt in those six months. Bhaiyya or bhabhi dono ko apne kiye par pachtava hai. I know things will take some time to settle down but I am sure, this family will become a happy family once again just like it used to be before! In fact, shuruwaat toh ho hi rahi hai. Kitne khush the aaj sab log Swara. Itne dino tak sab accha tha, par fir bhi ek kumi thi. Adarsh bhaiyya ki! Jo aaj puri ho gayi. Our family is back again and together now. This is all I have ever wanted. A happy family and a peaceful atmosphere and life. And obviously, a happy married life with my wife." Sanskar shrugged his shoulders and smiled.

"You are the best Sanskar." Swara smiled emotionally. "I don't even know what did I do in my last birth that I deserve a partner like you. The one who loves, supports and cares for his family so much. You are that ideal son of your parents, an ideal brother, and the best life partner one can ever get."

Saying this, she lied herself into his embrace circulating her arms around his torso and he returned the hug.

Sanskar smiled holding Swara closer to him. "I love you too Swara. Even I don't know what did I do that I got a life partner like you. The girl who puts her family and dear ones before herself and fights against all those who do wrong with any of her close ones."

She smiled feeling the warmth of his love she had deeply missed in those six months.

"I love you so much Sanskar. Tumhare bina kya karti mai. Six months before, I was so bad to leave you like that. When I was supposed to be there for you, I left you. I... I... gave this separation to both of us... I am..."

With each and every word she uttered, her heart broke even more and so did her voice.

Why? Why did she do this with both of them? She hurted not only herself but Sanskar too.

How could she?

"I... I am sorry Sanskar." Swara's voice choked and Sanskar immediately comforted her, shaking his head. "Mai bohot buri hoon. I shouldn't have done that with both of us. I gave this separation to both of us. Not only it was me who suffered, but I made you suffer too."

"Sssh Swara!" Sanskar consoled her. "Why are you bringing that up again? And who gave you the right to blame yourself? Haan? Are you crazy?"

"No, I am a hypocrite." Swara said in a broken voice, and a feeling of self-hate aroused her. "I was the one who caused this pain to both of us. I was supposed to be here when you needed me the most. But I..."

"Wait Swara, bohot bol liya tumne!" Sanskar finally broke Swara's chain of rants. Was she crazy to think that she was a hypocrite?

"You did nothing wrong, okay Swara?" Sanskar convinced her as if he was convincing a fragile child. "Anyone in your place would have done the same. You weren't in the situation to leave your sister like that when she needed you. Swara, at that time, we both had some responsibilities towards our family. I had to find my brother who is your sister's husband and that's what I had promised Ragini at that time that I will find Laksh by hook or by crook."

"I know that, but I also said some things which I shouldn't have said at all. Sanskar, a vermillion on my forehead symbolises my marriage and my pious relationship with my loved one. I have no right to wipe it off just like that. I am..."

"Swara, you were not wrong to do that." Sanskar assured her once and for all and Swara shaked her head. "I know at that time even I had done some things which I shouldn't have done at all. Something had come over me when Lucky had spoken rubbish about my blood, you and my mother, the two women I love the most in this world. And in this way, I forgot that I was the elder brother and I was the one who was supposed to realise my boundaries."

"No Sanskar, you were right to be doing that. You have every right because he is your younger brother and you are his elder. And just because Laksh and Ragini went through problems, I never wanted those problems to arise between us as well." Swara sniffed in his arms.

"If I fear something the most in this world, then that is losing you. Those six months were like punishment to me." She broke the hug and gripped his hands. "Trust me Sanskar, I never wanted to leave you. Never. Mai yeh kabhi sapne mein bhi nahi soch sakti Sanskar! But I had to go, because of the situation that was created. Par tum hamesha meri duaon mein the Sanskar. My day always began with a hope that one day you will accept me again in your life. I knew a lot had happened at that time. Uss wakt haalatein sahi nahi thi. Hamare rishtey mein daraar aa gayi thi but no matter whatever happened, your love was always there in your eyes. Mai toh tum se kabhi dur hi nahi thi Sanskar. You were always there into a part of me."

"Even I Swara." Sanskar soulfully agreed with each and every word said my Swara. "I know ki jaane anjaane mein, I had said some really mean things to you which I shouldn't have at all. I was already in panic searching for Laksh everywhere. I... I was never angry on you Swara. I was just engrossed into finding Laksh that panic and tension was always over me and that panic unnecessarily vented up on you at those times. The thought about Laksh being missing and our family ripping apart due to differences killed me everyday. No matter what happened, I never had to lose any hope. I had to be with my family." Sanskar gripped her palms and caressed them lovingly. "Swara, I always felt you in the morning besides me every day. I deeply missed having you with me!"

Swara smiled feeling his love and she shaked her head into agreement.

"But let me tell you..." Sanskar finally spoke to cheer her up and stated as a matter of fact. "...that everything happens for a reason. Anything that happens in our life is always for good. We were able to fight with all evils and now here we are, emerged stronger than before. Why don't we instead look into how far we have come together Swara? It has only strengthened our relation. No matter how far we were by our bodies, but our souls were always together. Swara, hum dono ka rishta bohot pure or strong hai. Our souls are connected to each other!"

"You are right." She smiled gripping his palms lovingly. "Sanskar hamara rishta bohot hi pure or strong hai. We were always together even though we were not. Iss duniya ki koi bhi taakat hume kabhi alag nahi kar sakti Sanskar. Never." She gave her ultimate declaration.

"And Swara, we have left those things behind long back. So why to remember those again? That's a history now, Swara. And now we are no more looking back. Now, we are looking only forward! We are looking forward to another phase of our life. We are looking forward to another journey that is life!"

Swara smiled nodding her head. "Ek saath jeene or marne ka waada kiya hai ek dusre se..."

"Zindagi bhar saath nibhane ka waada kiya hai ek dusre se!" Sanskar continued, making Swara smile wider. "Or hum woh waade, woh kasame jarur pura karenge!"

Swara smiled nodding her head and let those unshed and invisible emotions flow within her. Sanskar cupped Swara's cheek before giving a warm smile to her, and pressed his lips against her forehead intensely and Swara gripped his palms. Sanskar left her and Swara grabbed his palms pressing her lips tightly against them.

"Umm Swara. By the way kuch kehna tha tum se." Sanskar remembered something after some time.

Swara nodded scrunching her eyebrows down. "Haan bolo kya hua?"

"Woh..." Sanskar smiled and Swara instantly noticed the difference in his smile. "Swara tomorrow I want to take you somewhere."

"Tomorrow?" Swara was confused. "But..."

"Yes!" Sanskar interrupted making Swara stop. "And don't expect that I will tell you where I am taking you, because I am not. It's a surprise."

"Surprise?" Swara repeated, smiling in wonderment.

"Yes." Sanskar replied. "Actually aaj shaam ko hi tumhe le jaana chahta tha but Bade Papa, Papa, Lucky and I were busy with office stuff and all so I couldn't..."

"It's okay Sanskar. Work first. But tell na where are we going tomorrow? Please. Batao na." Swara asked in desperation.

"I am not telling you." Sanskar told her firmly and smiled. "It's a surprise princess! And surprise is never meant to be said. So, ab tum so jao. Kaafi raat ko chuki hai. Subah jaldi uthna bhi hai because I am taking you out at morning."

"Well... if that goes well with you. Fine."

"Good Shona!" Sanskar sat on his bed adjusting his blanket. "Come, let us sleep now.

"Haan. I'll just come!"
