I added my Chinese friend on my Switch, and we played Splatoon 2 together. I joined her match, so naturally I'd be in a server of Japanese people (my friend uses Japanese servers to play). It was really freaky; I felt like I was in some foreign land. My heart was pounding, mostly because Japanese people are known to be beasts on American servers. But surprisingly, I held off better than expected. I got about seven kills, and my team lost — but barely.

It was pretty fun, to say the least.
