(Gladion's point of view)

I was sitting in my room once again thinking of ways for me to beat the champion, (y/n). After us battling so many times you would think I would have beaten her at least once. But she still taunts me unknowingly, it's infuriating! Her and that Decidueye, they seem almost unstoppable. Silvally was laying next to me fast asleep. I gently pet his head and smile down at him. I then look over at my clock, in blocking red lights it read 2:13am. I went through been mine and (y/n)'s Pokémon battles in my head. Looking for any possible flaws in her strategy. Of course I was unable to find anything that would help me, frustrated beyond belief I fell asleep.

(In dreamland...)

"(Y/n)!" I yelled and she turned around. She looked surprised to see me. She faced me entirely and smiled.

She replied "Gladion." Her smile shined so brightly and I was captured by its beauty.

We both said "I need to tell you something!" I chuckled and felt a smirk on my face.

She giggled a bit and I told her "You first."

She asked quietly "Gladion, are we friends?"

I leaned towards her a bit and responded "(y/n), that's a dumb question, we're not friends I've told you this before."

"Were more than friends (nickname)." I continued and saw her smile. A smile made its way onto my face as we started to lean even closer to each other. Then the real world had to do what it does best, crush your dreams...

(The real world...)

I jolted from my bed. I could feel my face blushing and I shook my head. I said "No I that's not true."
But I heard a voice in my head say 'You know it is.' I replied "No it's not." I then thought 'Great I'm arguing with myself.' The voice replied 'Yeah and your losing. Hahaha.'

(Over at your house, your point of view)

I looked at the clock and saw it was 2:13 am. I then looked at my Decidueye, Who I called Rowdy sleeping peacefully on my bay window. I thought 'I wish it was morning. Mom took my phone again, and I'm not tired.' I sat there slowly but surely falling into a peaceful slumber.

(Dreamland...)

I heard someone calling my name. I turned around and saw Gladion behind me.

I said "Gladion."

We both say at the same time "I need to tell you something!"

I laugh and he says "You first."

I ask "Gladion, are we friends?"

He leans towards me a bit and says "(y/n), were more than friends. You know that."

I smile and we lean closer until our lips meet. It only lasted for a second because soon I awoke to the smell of pancakes and bacon.

( The real world...)

I slowly got up and looked at my clock. It was 6:31 am. I thought 'Wow I'm never up this early. Maybe I'll actually get breakfast today!' But then my thoughts went back to my dream last night. I said quietly "Gladion, if only it were real..." I sighed slightly and came back to reality. I didn't need a man in my life anyway. I mean I'm the champion, I've got some great friends, and trusting Pokémon. With my spirits slightly lifted I walk over to my closet. I picked out a royal blue dress, that looked similar to Lille's dress. I also had my long (h/c) hair braided in a ponytail. I wore a white belt and a white pair of boots. I also had a white flower in my hair.

My mom called "(y/n), are you awake!?"

I called back "Yeah, mom I'm coming!"

I grabbed my (f/c) bag and ran down stairs. I ate my breakfast and started another day. A day I thought would be like any other.
