Jiraya is awesome and that's on periodt.

He is strong, goofy, pervert, writer and so much more. He ain't afraid of rejection and he pursued his love, Tsunade, for years. He even blamed Orochimaru's defection on himself. If he was an Uchiha, I sure he would have unlocked his MS. (No, not Masochist and Sadist but Mangekyo Sharingan)

He learnt from the 3rd Hokage, was a teammate of 5th and trained the 4th and 7th. 6th Hokage, Kakashi, was a huge fan of him too.
He was offered the position of Hokage twice and refused it.

He is a great writer. I bet Icha Icha is an amazing series. I mean it even resolved a conflict between two nations.

In Naruto episode 177, Naruto ghost-wrote an Icha Icha book in an attempt to force Jiraiya to train him. The manuscript was mistakenly sent to the Land of Fangs' daimyō as a peace treaty. The daimyō enjoyed it so much that he ended his country's war with the Land of Claws.

Multiple installments of it has even been adapted into movies with great lead roles.

He is beautiful. And I swear I am not into older men that could be the age of my Grandfather but Jiraya is totally an exception.

He had so much respect worldwide yet he felt like he didn't deserve it.

I say that's a humble king we got there.

His death was most tragic tho. Even his beaten and bruised picture is enough to form tears in my obsidian eyes.
