For such a lame question, you gave me a pretty personal answer...haha! But I accept your challenge and vow to ask "real" questions from now on. I assume that means questions you aren't asked by every interviewer in the world. So the bar is set high. You may regret this!

I can understand why you might feel like competing was a bad decision, based on what you've been dealing with. There's no doubt it's stressful, and exhausting. On the other hand, it has given you the chance to try something on your own. I'm sure it would take an equal amount of hard work to get to this place without the success of the band, most likely more. Kind of a double edged sword I guess, bad things on both sides.

Yeah, things are really stressful for me too, with this former friend still around. You have no idea how uncomfortable it is to be any where near her. Excruciating. I dread it. It's gotten a little easier I have to say, but my stomach is always in knots now, especially after...well you'll find out if you keep answering my questions.
