Whenever I used to take a stroll with my sister, she would always pull me back when I stepped into the road, even if there was no cars around. While it did bother me slightly, I knew she was just trying to keep me safe, after all, I'd do the same for her. I didn't discover the true intentions of her actions until I woke up from a nightmare this morning.

I had dreamed that my sister had fallen from a bridge, because she had been following me after I had ran off upset. After I woke up, I started crying, and my sister asked me what was wrong, I told her, and she told me something I didn't expect to hear.

She told me that she had had several dreams in which I had been hit by a car, always in the same place - outside a friend's house.

So, out of the instinct to protect me, my younger sister puts her hand out or pulls me back to stop me from crossing the road just to make sure I'm okay. I wish there were more people in the world like her...
